Truth is I think that is what Roach is expecting, I expect if Floyd makes the weight in my eyes he should easily whip pacquiao, But I think there is a reason that Roach stated that a fight with Floyd would not happen at 147

Honestly, Roach is hoping that PBF is weighing like 160 right now & will be kinda drained at 140. Roach knows a year ago Floyd could've fought Hatton at 140 problem. He's hoping PBF will struggle with the weight.

Floyd should make the weight fine. When fighting at 147 he weighed 147 on fight night. He never gained weight like most fighters do.

Although I would say being inactive would hurt him and he should get a warm up fight before hand.

He wouldn't accept the fight at 140 if he felt there would be trouble making the weight. Unlike Oscar, Floyd isn't willing to sell his legacy to make millions.

He did sell his legacy when he fought Baldimor and Judah rather than any of the True top WWs like Cotto or Margarito or even Paul Williams for that matter.

Margo would be a great tune up. lol/jk. Floyd vs Hatton at 140 would be a good tune up.

How did he sell his legacy when as of today he's known as the best fighter at 130 & 1 of the best at 135? If Floyd isn't gonna drain himself and risk taking a loss for money.

I'm no PBF fan by any means, but you have to remember who your talking about. This guy is gym rat. He always keeps himself in shape. And because of this, I dont think the inactivity will hurt him as bad as everyone thinks it will. They will probably fight at a catch weight and although I think Floyd will win a UD, I will be pulling for pac.

Well I guarantee you this fight will never take place.......I wouldn't expect a fighter who has been inactive to go down to a weight he hasn't fought at in over 3 years. Floyd seems too smart for that.

And how in the hell is Pacquiao in the drivers seat? Besides a fight with Hatton, what other fight will pull in the type of money he will probably be looking for besides a fight with Floyd? Floyd, on the other hand seems to have many lucrative options should he choose to return.

And please don't give me **** about being a Floyd groupie, cause I'm not......I still pissed he didn't seise the momentum he claimed last year and put the sport on his back. Like it or not, Floyd was one of the main reasons boxing had such a resurgence last year.

I'm going to keep saying it ... there's no chance that anyone out right now has a chance to beat PBF.

I don't say rust will play a factor because there are a ton of fighters throughout the history that have taken time off and have came back in big fights and looked like they never lost a step. Most recent example ... Vitali Klitschko --

Pacquiao is and has arguably been the best P4P fighter even while Floyd was active, what put him in the drivers seat is Floyd rejecting the DLH Rematch and allowing Manny to fill that void and the out come of that fight speaks higher volumes than Floyds win over DLH.

Manny like it or not, he became a super star last week more so of one than Floyd has based on his performance against Oscar. right now people look at Floyd as the guy who barely got by DLH and the man who ran from Margarito who just brutally beat down Miguel Cotto, an undefeated champion who was usally the one brutally beating down his opponents.

The welter weight divison has been shaken up since Floyds retirement and there is no way that Floyd is going to come out of retirement to clean it all up, he is comming out for a huge Payday against Manny pacquiao and Manny can demand the fight happen at 140 or no fight at all and I am 100% confident that Roach will insist a fight at 140 or no fight.

Sure he wont make the money with Hatton that he would with Mayweather but I can tell you this he wont starve neither. so really its up to Floyd how bad he wants this fight, its on Mannys terms or there simply wont be one.

Floyd vs Hatton rematch does double what Pac vs Hatton would do. People still view Pac as Floyds filler. Nothing more.

No one was arguing that PacMan was above Floyd on the p4p list, you dont even believe that. Last year Floyd was crackin jokes on Pac when he was asked if he felt Pac could be coming for the #1 p4p spot. Floyd already dissed Pac for getting out boxed & a gift draw after knocking a guy down 3 times and losing the rest of the fight.
