    This right here!

Pac can't go above 150lbs and Sergio can't go below 155lbs so asking Pac to fight Sergio at MW is just dumb! Its like asking Sergio to take on Hopkins at 175lbs.

True...but Sergio isn't Manny! Seriously...if Sergio showed the ability PAC has with moving up in weight and still operating at a high level then fighting Nard at 175 might be realistic..... PAC can fight at 154 although it would be a great disadvantage. Which PAC fighting Sergio at any weight will always be. But I get your point.

do you people really think that catchweights just came along when Pacquaio arrived at welterweight, they have been doing this for years. Welterweights can be any weight agreed on by fighters from 141 to 147, I don't give a ****, it levels the playing field so the bigger guy doesn't have the advantage, if you don't like catchweights that much then don't take the fight, nobody is twisting these guys arms, in the end its all about the payday and thats all that really matters.

If pac beat martinez at 154 ... to me thats as good as beating mayweather.

If he KO's or TKOs martinez then that will eclipse beating mayweather ... unless he can KO mayweather in brutal fashion, unlikely.

One catch weight OK , but when you make a career out of then hell no. !!! Sugar ray Leonard , SRR, Duran, Hopkins, Hearns, Armstrong did not fight catch weights, they challenge the champion on his own grown, not middle grown.

    It depends on when.

If before the fight, then yes.

After the fight, Sergio will be considered shot, not a black slick fighter, had a style tailored to pac, softened by Margo, etc. You know, the usual stuff..:hey

Haters will not give credit to pac even if he beats maravilla at 154. They will say martinez is old or not in his best weight!

    That's the way it is.

Remember when shane approached roached in wild card gym asking if he can fight pac? when roach said no they say he ducks shane and he's afraid! now they beat him convincingly so many excuses popped-up!
