If Pacquaio is so Overrated, Why does JMM get Credit?

Out-thought, whatever, my point is that RJJ is right, people act like Manny losing is the norm simply because one ATG was able to do it and another ATG was able to do it 8 years ago.

    Pacquiao in an instinctive fighter.

It's his killer instinct that killed him.

Correct! Ali is considered the Michael Jordan of boxing and he got KO'ed too. Lennox Lewis was knocked by Rahman.

Pacquiao got careless. Period. And as for JMM, he acknowledged that PAC was the better fighter that night. ---> ''

,'' Marquez said. ''I threw the perfect punch.'' If PAC did some time management on that 6th round, a stoppage would have been possible in the 7th or 8th.

Pac and Marquez are evenly matched. Let's not discredit anyone of them. Discrediting one will be discrediting the other. Marquez fans should be magnanimous in victory like their idol is.

Don't be a troll, Manny improved way beyond the fighter he was when those losses happened. Otherwise Margarito, Cotto, De La Hoya, Barrera, Clottey, Hatton, all would have torn his head off.

I like how you add that 7th or 8th round stoppage blurb. Manny was still sleeping in the 7th and 8th round!

Marquez was about to go down in the 6th but Pac got careless. Marquez got knocked down in 5th. Marquez's face was bloodied and his nose was broken. Had he waited for another round or two, he could have knocked marquez out.

Oh, no. I am not saying that. Marquez won by KO, and he won fairly. What more do you want to hear? But Pac fought well that night. Discredting Pac is tantamount to discredting Marquez's spectacular victory. Be magnanimous like your idol Marquez.

I'm astounded that so many people are overlooking that Pac was on top and starting to make a mess of JMM. It was a great punch thrown by a great fighter that closed the show, but it's not like Pac was getting Lacy-ed. Neither fighter 'dominated' the other and if anything, JMM was more in control during the 3rd fight. It was both fighters willingness to engage that gave us the KO, round and fight of the year, and they both should be celebrated, JMM more so obviously.

My point exactly also. The reason why people think Marquez is amazing is because he beat pacquiao. By their logic, this implies that Pacquiao is really good too.

Thus, the people who praise Marquez yet say Pacquiao is overrated/sucks are contradicting themselves. Whoever praises Marquez should also praise Pacquiao for being a great fighter. Anyone who says otherwise is just a hater.
