I think you may be missing the point of "overrating" him.

Pac is a great fighter. And he should be rated as such. But he was never the GOAT who didn't have a single flaw like some of his fans tried to make him out to be. There is a difference in ATG and GOAT and when you take an ATG and rate him as the absolute GOAT, you're overrating him.

None of this takes away from Marquez victory, especially as it's the only victory out the four fights that was decisive and without controversy. And he was the older, less-powerful, and slower fighter who no one thought had a chance of winning by KO.

    It was spectacular.

Because overrated doesn't mean suck or garbage he's still a legit top 5 p4p for the last 10 yrs.We say overrated because he & floyd get all the credit attention in the world & get a free pass for no fighting the best or each other yet Marquez is & they call themselves both king.More like king off excuses & hype.:yep

Manny is great, without a doubt, but the media tends to amplify everything x10. That's why only true fans that know and follow boxing, the "other" fighters, know what must be done for a particular fighter to be great. So for conclusion Manny is great, but not as great as the media has labeled him to be. Even experts like Bert Sugar can make mistakes. Same goes for Floyd, but on a smaller scale.

Doesn't matter. Marquez's win this Saturday was more historically important then any of Mayweather's wins. Floyd had his chance and passed on the opportunity.

Wow, beating Pacquiao cements your place in history now? Are you ******* or something? I think JMM's ENTIRE career did that same as MAYWEATHER and any HOFer who preceded them. DAMN shoe in Torrecampo and Singsurat as ATG, they are conquerors of this sport!

To say Manny Pacquiao is overrated... Thats just wow . He is the first ever 8 division champion in the history of boxing , Thats something no other great boxer has done . His accomplishments is what made him an ATG .

No need to cry because your hero chose vacation time over fighting Pac.

Must be so sad to transfer your fandom to another fighters victory.

You just cant go around accusing fighters of being on PEDS just because you have a dislike for em . Sorry It just doesnt work that way , Especially when the fighter has never given us a reason to suspect him . Its not like hes destroying these fighters in 2 or 3 rounds . His last stoppage win was Cotto and it took him 12 rounds to finish him off . Hes also never failed any drug tests in his career . You need to learn how to put your personal feelings to the side , and learn how to be a realistic boxing fan .

Btw You are accurate when you mentioned the fact that there is no 150 pound title ,But if you seemed to forget Margarito weighed a shocking 165 pounds when he fought Manny ,so therefore it doesnt matter what the catchweight was, Pac was basically facing off against a supermiddleweight in that fight .
