Those boxers are legends (Barrera, Morales, and Marquez are some of the most skilled fighters of any time). Were the fights between Lamotta and Robinson damaging to SRRs legacy?
What was the reason to fight Morales a third time why fight a 39 year old JMM was it to pad his record or not be truthful?
Like it or not, If Pac knocks out Bradley, he's back to #2 behind Floyd. If Pac decisions him clearly, he's comfortably in the top 5.
Draw keeps him ranked and sets up the trilogy; the nature of the loss would determine the drop. Another KO loss and we may well see him dropped completely from the top 10 for the first time in years.
To get a clear win and silence critics who said he lost. Didnt happen though. Third morales was a rubber match they had two GREAT fights.
I was so calm watching that fight. Round ten Bradley won big. One close round. Easiest fight PAC had in YEARS. No danger at all. Bradley had zero effective aggression just landed jabs on pac's gloves and got tossed around when power shots landed. Easy fight to score. Jmm PAC are hard fights to score because both are landing hard shots. PAC making the action and jmm making him pay.
Pac standing for 2 and a half minutes of each round and flurrying wildly in the last 30 secs while missing does not win you the rounds. Those compubox numbers are ****. Pac did not land more. He looked terrible in that fight.
