That's an interesting question. Because my first thought was "less than that". But then I asked myself why, and couldn't answer.

The point is, even if a lot of people think that Mikey is doomed, they would want to see that happening, most probably. All in all, we have:
a). Mikey's fans who think he has a realistic chance to beat Spence (those would want to buy the PPV);
b). Those people who think Mikey has no chance, he's crazy and Spence will destroy him (those would want to buy the PPV);
c). Boxing fans indifferent to this fight? Unless someone thinks that the fight is fixed, it's hard to be indifferent...

So, the new answer is a lot. It should be definitely more than 500k.

It has to be a really good event for people to pony up nowadays

 

it’s PPV? I’m guessing 200-300k, neither is a PPV star but Spence is building a profile around himself as a top fighter.

Mab vs morales only ever did 300-400k and they were big names, but that said, neither was American.

Talk about living in La La Land.

Spence and Garcia are making their respective PPV debuts. No one ever has cracked 400k when both men made their debuts.
They will be lucky to get a little over 300k, which they likely will.

 

Go read up on fights that have cracked 1mil buys.

 

Less than that I believe. Pacquiao is or at least was a superstar. These guys aren’t on that level and the prices are just too god damn high now people like myself don’t buy them anymore
