Provodnikov hurt Algieri badly a few times in that fight and I thouht he did enough to win. I can't remember if it was the 5th or 6th round he hit him with a really big hook right on the bell and Algieri was gone.

I thought Ruslan was robbed that night badly he landed all the hurtful shots in nearly every round and I think the other day when I was scoring it I gave him the 1st 10-7 then 3,4,5,6,7 and stoped watching after 8 which I felt he just lost. I honestly think that fight would be
more dangerous for Pacquiao as well.

At this stage Privodnikov who would be more motivated to fight Manny could possibly score the KO. I don't rate the chances of that happening to Pacquiao at the weekend though and Pacquiao has the better foot speed, power, angles, hand speed, head movement and pretty much everything other than size. Pacquiao can take his advantages away and potentially stop him.

Fights in china, pac can be stunned and hurt in every single round and still win.

 

Big difference in Pac and Provodnikov. Provodnikov can muscle his opponents whereas Pac swarms them. Pac is gonna look bad in this fight as he has trouble with guys who box and use movement.

 

When's the last time Pac had trouble with a guy that boxes and uses movement? Marquez didn't use much movement. He lured Pac in, by stepping back, and then punched with him. Countered with combinations, using angles. What JMM did with Pac was extremely skillful and unique. The only other guy that I can think of that used movement, is Bradley, and Pac won both fights pretty decisively. Regardless of the official scorecards in fight #1.

 

Fight is not in NY. That's all you need to know. If there is any hometown cooking, Pacquiao will have the advantage.

For such a "pure boxer" he got hit plenty by slow plodding Provodnikov. A great case can be made Provo beat Algieri.

Having seen the Provo fight, I just dont see where Algieri is going to avoid Pacquiao's rushes, and I dont see where Algieri's slaps are going to cause Pacquiao hesitation to come in as he pleases.

A fighter with the style of Algieri can cause Pacquiao difficulty, but I just dont think Algieri's defense is very good.

PAC won decisively both times kid. You can say otherwise but you could also tell me the sun is the moon and the moon the sun and it wouldn't make it reality. PAC looked a little sloppy but it was a lot of chasing and running...more boxing and fighting would produce a cleaner performance.
