You have to understand Pacquiao has a history of playing with his opponents weight, if he goes down to 140 I have no issue but another fake welterweight fight is a disgrace.
Ortiz comes in the ring at 161, does that make a fight with GGG legit? The answer is no and you know it
If Ortiz actually came into the ring in shape bigger than GGG,then the fight would of course be legit. Alvarado weighs over 150 when he gets into the ring. Hes a bigger guy than Pacquiao. It would be just as legit as Hatton fighting Mayweather. Hatton being a "LWW" who was actually bigger than Floyd. Alvarado once weighed in at 148. The heaviest Pacquiao ever wighed on the scales was 147. Alvarado has never fought below LWW, whereas Pac was fighting at Super feather well into his 20s. Ortiz started his career at LW. GGG has been a MW his whole pro career. The Ortiz-GGG comparison is ridiculous The Ortiz-GGG comparison is nonsense
Alvarado weighed 158 against Rios on fight night. Pacquiao hasn't weighed above 149 on fight night, though I don't know what he weighed in Marquez IV. Alvarado is a bigger guy than Pacquiao! Rios is a bigger guy than Pacquiao (161 on fight night). These guys will pack more power at 147! Yet Hatton coming up from 140 and being blatantly smaller is ok...so much so he went straight back to 140 afterwards :yep This thread is just the biggest troll-fest ever - you people don't even talk sense on here...so much hate and ignorance
Well actually Hatton weighed more than Floyd on fight night. Hatton often weighed about 155,when fighting at lww
Thanks - 151, just found it also. His previous heaviest was 149 against Bradley I believe - so we're talking about 7lb difference and Alvarado won't have to drain to make 140...yet Pacquiao is the one who will benefit :rofl Make them cut and he drains them, make them fight at more comfortable weight where they can take advantage of their bigger size and it's a disgrace also :rofl
Alvarado would be stronger at 147lbs. Stylistically, he is tailor made for Manny of course, but coming from a devastating KO loss, a fight like this is a good test to see how much Manny has left. That and Mile High deserves a big payday.
You are really sad picking on a 140 guy and you will lie and claim it's 147, you are lucky you don't feel shame
