They just keep feasting Pacquiao this walk over apponents just to get him some credentials. It doesn't make any sense for him to be fighting guys like David Diaz or Yuri Foreman, just to get a title. This is way titles don't mean much in boxing anymore. If he was going to fight a jr. middleweight why not have it be someone like James Kirkland, Paul Williams, or Sergio Martinez ?

I don't get this ... he's not fighting the best guys in the divisions he going in ... he had the luxary of fighting the same 3 guys in two division ... which didn't say much but that he can make some wars with the same 3 guys. Not to say that he would've lost but there has to be some variety there. I would have respected more if he would've fought Joel Casamayor instead of David Diaz (who was barely top 10 and was more of a babysitter) ... or fought Juan Diaz ... hell even Nate Campbell.

Then he goes up to welterweight ... fights the one guy who's been questioned and who has had more excuses for him made than any fighter of recent note ... All the question about Cotto were proved during the Clottey fight and during the Margarito fight ... and before that, the thought was that it was only a matter of time before it happened and it did ... 2 devastating knockout losses ... that reminds me of Jermain Taylor !!

It won't be bad that he fights Foreman but that chances of Foreman really doing something special are slim to none.

If Pacquiao or anyone in his team and TopRank don't want the fight, they should just say so and give Floyd his credit for being the best of this era and the legitimized p4p champion.

    pac-pbf will happen.

If Pac doesnt fight Floyd and fights Foreman instead because he wont agree to 50/50 then id be pissed off at Pac. If he fights Foreman cos Floyd is demanding a bigger share, **** that..Pac doesnt need Floyd, neither do really. Boxing and the fans need the fight moreso.

If the fight doesn't happen its not going to be because of Floyd, team Mayweather, or GBP ... case in point ... Pavlik vs Williams.

Everybody wants to see the pacquiao-mayweather fight....but historically pacquiao winning a strap at 154 would be huge...

    Total BS
Manny would be pulling the same **** as what people accuse Floyd of. Mannys stock could go down if he loses to Mayweather, may wanty to cash in while he can. Yuri at a catchweight for another division title:huh
    PPV??? You betcha!:-(

I saw a documentary today in the Philippines local channel entitled Team Pacquiao, Pac was quoted saying before the Hatton fight that HE WAS negotiating with Mayweather if the Hatton fight will not materialized. He said further that he's only gonna fight maybe 2 or 3 more fights before retiring so he has to make the most money possible so you saying Pac wont fight floyd is just plain stupid. Pac wants tons of money before retiring so he could go on and do his charitable works and fullfill his boyhood dream of becoming a Congressman...
