People act like it was his 12 pro fight when he fought marquez there is this thing where people lump them 2 fights together like they were back to back rematches they were not there was years that seperated them

You're missing the point. You mention guys like alexander, berto, bradley and you say pac could easily wipe the floor with them. And you're right he could. They are not on his level now or 2 years ago.

This however does not change the fact of my original post which said that the guys he has been wiping the floor with are lesser opponents than the ones he had previously been fighting in Barrera, morales and Marquez.

And im not saying pac hadn't improved at all, but not as much as some of you guys are lead to believe. Not only is he fighting lesser fighters at 147
he is also steering clear of actual technical boxers for a very good reason. And when he fight mayweather that reason will immediately become apparent.

He would surpass all of them IMO. None of them has achieved anything as unrealistic as what Pac is about to do with PBF.

SRL beat a top MW ATG fighter in Hagler at MW, 3 divisions up from where he started.
If Pac were to beat FMJ, he would have beaten an ATG fighter at WW, 10 divisions north of where he started.

Also I cant justify Duran being rated higher than Pac if Pac beats FMJ. Resume wise, Pac has beaten more great fighters and has gone up more weight. The reason Duran is rated higher is because he has that single win over SRL, Pac doesnt have any win on his record that comes close at the moment. He also broke the odds big time when he beat Barkley...although Duran beating Barkley at MW is no more impressive than Pac beating Cotto at WW.

Also those who keep bringing up Pac's tough fight with JMM to prove hes not great. Thats BS. Every great fighter stuggles with someone out there. Ali went life and death with Norton...does that mean Ali is not as great as Foreman cos we all know Foreman would/did destroy Norton..?

Hagler lost was taken to a draw by Antuofermo, as good as Vito was, hes not even in JMM's league...does that mean Hagler is not great?

Duran lost to De Jesus, De Jesus was good but not much better than JMM if at all, does that mean Duran isnt great?

FMJ went life and death with Castillo...does that mean he isn't great?

Yes Pac struggled with JMM. Yes JMM probably has his number. Yes Pac wasn't even primed from a technical pov when he fought JMM.

Duran´s career did not start at 147, you know? What about Pac´s 6 year lw run? And no Pac did not beat more greats than Duran.

Who said Duran's career started at WW?

If you wanna compare their resumes below WW, Pac BY A MILE. Duran has what, 2 good wins below WW..?

JMM, MAB, Morales, DLH are pretty much in 90% of fans top 100 ATG's.

Who has Duran beaten that is top 100 ATG? SRL?

I'll be dammed if people actually rate De Jesus, Davey Moore, Barkley, Cuevas, lampkin in the top 100 greatest fighters of all time.

DLH,was washed up when pac fought him, get the **** out of here with that ****

danny green knocked out roy jones jr. We suppose to count that as beating an ATG or just a shell of a man.

Ken Buchannan? Ernesto Marcel? Ever heard of them?
And DLH? WTF? Guts Ishimatso is a better win for Duran than DLH is for Pac. That win meant nothing.
When both where nearest to their prime Morales beat Pac. The Morales Pac beat wasn´t as good as DeJesus. Barrera even worse.
Pac arguable lost to JMM - both times. Personally I think they are 1-1.
And it´s not just about resume. It´s also about accomlishments/achievements and longevity. Duran had already a full career at lw before moving up. He was already an established atg when he did so. Everything above was just icing on the cake. Pac is great but he won´t surpass Duran when he beats Mayweather - aside of that, he won´t.
