It would depend on how respectful/disrespectful Mayweather acted in the build up. It would be one hell of a spectacle!

Mayweather did say he wanted to have his next fight in London, if it's against Pacquiao.... how about Hatton fights Marquez the same night? Assuming Floyd beats him in July of course.

I'm picking Mayweather to beat Manny. It will take a true welter to beat Floyd, assumin he's at the same level when he left the sport.

Simple. Us Brits absolutely love cheering the underdog, maybe it's the same the world over.

Whoever is the favourite will be expected to land punches, but when the guy who isn't supposed to win lands a few, the crowd will shout "GO ON LAD! GET HIM! GET HIM!"

Of course this is only true when one of them isn't a home favourite, that's different.

Mayweather is never gonna fight at wembley.

All a bit of clever PR for the British press.

But for the sake of the question, even i'd imagine.

The world loves Pacquiao, but Mayweather got loads of fans yesterday at his work out. More would of turned up if it wasn't during the working day.

Errr, Pacquiao fans actually drowned out the Hatton fans when he came here. You could count PBF fan's for the Hatton fight here with 1 hand. lol. Both Pac & PBF are well known in UK, simply because of Hatton...and from the vibe here, Pac is a hell of a lot more respected here....and the casual fan thinks Pac would destroy PBF. Of course th'er just going by results of Hatton fights.

im sure PBF would play with the british media during the fight promotions and brits would love him more..but it's easy to cheer for the smaller guy

    I'd say Pac.

People tend to side with the underdog if they're not fans of either boxer, or any team in any sport for that matter.

They would cheer Floyd ... they were cheering Floyd after the Hatton fight ... "there's only one Mayweather"

I think that they would cheer for him rather than Pacquiao who is limited to his asian community.

you need to grow up. You sound like such a hater, making all these threads about pacquiao. Just enjoy it. Im a fan of both and a big boxing fan and im sure the british fans there would just enjoy a great occasion.
