Uh oh, the hard hitting questions now... He beat Mosley (old) Judah (suspended) Quintana (now a paper champ), Mali (paper champ) Torres (paper champ)... There you go, a perfect set up for ya.

Marquez' superior conditioning carried him through 3 knockdowns and a brutally busted nose. He took PacMan 12 after getting knocked down.

His conditioning in the high altitude of 16,000 ft and adjustments made during the first fight will carry him to victory Saturday.

PacMan ... no matter if they work on the right hook or uppercut ... is still going to rely heavily on that jab straight left combo. He might throw a few right hooks here and there but at the end of the day he will abort that and fight his typical way. A leopard doesn't change its spots.

He's a one handed fighter and he's shown that ... I also think that Marquez has more weapons and will use them to confuse Pacquiao.

In the first fight Marquez had Pacquiao confused ... he threw the right hand effectively and threw it many different ways. He fainted the straight right and threw a looping right. He fainted the straight right and threw a right hook to the body.

PacMan showed that he had no answer for the straight right to the body. He favored it during the second half of the first fight which allowed Marquez to get some good shots in.

The straight left jab also is a weapon that PacMan has no answer for ... the left upper cut as Pacquiao is pawing in with the right jab is going to get countered all day.

So which one of those guys were top 15 at welterweight? which one of those guys were top 15 period?

Mosley didn't beat any top 15 WW since DLH and his most recent victory at WW was Luis Collazo - who was coming off an "L" to Hatton - the same guy who just got knocked out by Mayweather.

Should I continue to set up this series of questions or just cut it short....:huh I guess I'll be devil's advocate, Cotto's opponents have gone on to do better things than PBF's. cotto has fought 3 fighters that are current champs compared to PBF's 1. Booyah! IN YOUR FACE! :yep

If Manny beats JMM then at least IMO he's equal on Floyd's level.

If he were able to defeat Guzman he'd be without question the #1 P4P.

Yeah but ... some of the guys that Cotto beat were up and comers. In PBF's defense those guys he beat had belts and he took their belts. In addition to that Floyd beat a few sure fire Hall of Famers.

Hatton still has the lineal title at 140 and has only lost 1 fight. Hatton will beat Malignaggi.

Quintana is a gate keeper and will only beat up and coming guys... just like Cotto he hasn't beaten anyone thats proven.

Torres has a belt that was vacated by Cotto and hasn't beaten anyone signifant.

Compare 3 fighters w/ belts to 18 guys that held belts or were champions at the time they fought PBF.

    Booya!!

I'm not going to say all who fought PBF had belts but there were more than 3 that were champions at the time he fought them.

DLH, Hernandez, JLC, Gatti, Judah (bull****) and Baldomir ... Cotto won 2 vacant belts no lineage in that.

Manny Pac's level of opposition shits all over Floyd's level of competition. On paper yea Sure Floyd has accomplished more. But the skill level of opponents that Pacquiao has been fighting (back to back to back) > Floyd's level of opposition. I honestly don't care who they put at #1, I'd rather see Pacquiao fight than Floyd. Put it this way If Floyd would have never fought Ricky Hatton I would DEFINITELY put PACQUIAO at #1 without a doubt. If Pacquiao Destroys Marquez then Desroys Guzman I will put him over Floyd. If Floyd takes out Cotto then again toss up. If Pac takes out Marquez/Guzman/Valero and somebody at 135lbs than Floyd could kiss his lb 4 lb "title" good bye.

He's one dimensional .... he hasn't proven himself and is really famous for beating 2 shot fighters.

I think that the truth will come out saturday and if not then he gets my respect -- no excuses.

Absolutely YES he can, that's if JMM will fight toe to toe w/ Pac. But If he will run around like a chicken, Then it will not and it will be a boring fight.

Marquez is a counter puncher not a club fighter -- he's technically sound and will come with a good game plan ... you sound like you're setting up excuses for Pacquiao already.

Manny Pacquiao is a fantastic boxer. I can't believe how much of a lack of appreciation of boxing skills some of you have. What does it take for some of you to appreciate boxing skills? Does every boxer have to be a Pernell Whitaker? A Floyd Mayweather? A Salvador Sanchez? A Roy Jones???

Give me a break dude, some of you people need to literally taste what this sport is really like so you can get a deep appreciation of what these men have to go through. Manny Pacquiao is SUPERB :deal

Why because he's a power puncher and he's entertaining to watch ... if that were the case then this wouldn't be boxing -- it would be UFC.

This is a sport thats built more on skills and ability ... the sweet science --
