Same result in my opinion...Pac looked stronger at 135 than he did at 130 IMO...only 1 fight in Diaz to judge it by but regardless...Pac by same result...maybe even quicker in the 2nd fight...
Pac weighted around 147 that fight. SO it would probably end up much faster since the weight can be easily rehydrated. Or Morales would fight and trade more and yet still have same result.
they are comparable...they are both one dimensional in nature...atleast hatton has a different variation of holding
Most likely the same result..i just dont understand Erik. He's a tall fighter, not that old for a fighter in his fight with Raheem and Diaz and yet his body somehow loses balance and speed at 135..but a killer in 122, 126, and 130( although not a big puncher here).
Here I go with a controversial opinion... I think if the second fight would've been done at 135 lbs Erik would've won and the third one would not have happened. I remember seeing Erik outboxing Pacquiao all over again in the beginning of the second fight (not the case at all in their third fight were Erik was truly done) until he really was more vulnerable to being hurt and lost his legs quite easily unlike his other fights (including the first Pacquiao fight). I think his vulnerability had a LOT to do with being weight drained, and had he been able to box a few more rounds like he was able in his fights when he is not weight drained I think he would've won. I still don't think he would've become a lightweight champion because Erik was already going downhill, but I think the timing and the circumstances really affected him. A lot of people point out Erik's failure in the lightweight division and the success pac had at it, but let's not forget the time at which does fight happened. Timing is a very important factor that many people don't seem to consider.
darchinyan and pac what im trying to say is that pacquiao uses his right more and boxes well in the second fight..something that darchinyan hasn't shown yet.. the thing is pac grows with every fight..VD never learns. look at what happens in Darchinyan- Gorres round 2...same punch, down goes vic.. but in the second pacquiao-morales fight, pac was a stronger fighter..morales may have won 4 out of the first 6 rounds but pac really never gets hurt by the punches of morales..remember that pac always says in his interview that barerra hits way harder than morales...
Once Pacquiao fit into the 130lb division, Morales didn't have the size advantage that helped him win the first one. Maybe if he took Pacquiao up to 135 he could have used those extra 5lbs to his advantage more than Pacquiao. Those who are saying Pacquiao knocks him out faster, I don't really see why... Pac by UD if they fight at 135.
