i'm rooting for pac but if i were a betting man i would find it hard to bet against floyd..that being said, if floyd wins i think there will be some i told you so's and this and thats but most will have seen a floyd victory coming.

on the other hand, if pac wins we will never hear the end of it!!! there will be victory parades throughout the philipines and filipinos and floyd haters around the world will turn pac into and idol lol i see endorsement deals galore for him. pac fans will never let floyd fans sleep a wink!!! even though pac is not as big an underdog as buster douglas was a pac win would dwarf the media hype and talk around the world of the dethronement of floyd.

a close matched hard fought draw could be the biggest thing boxing has ever had and would pave the way for a 2nd fight 3 times as big as the first. i am just scared that a floyd unwilling to trade and coast to a boring points decision will scare away a lot of casuals and make a mockery of one of the biggest most anticipated match ups in boxing history.

It's the same for both sides.

There are far more Pac fans around the world than Floyd fans. If Floyd wins, Pacmania drowns... forever. :hi:

They will have finally realized that Floyd is by far the best of this era. And they will never be able to deny it! :scaredas:

If PAC wins? We'll still never hear the end of it even if Floyd wins. The Floyd haters already have their conspiracy theories on standby. It will never end until Floyd retires.

Works both ways... Some fl*mos can't even stop mentioning the KO6 in every single thread about Pac, let alone if Floyd actually manages to beat the guy himself.

And just think if the fight is very close (I expect it to be) or worse, a robbery. Both Pact*rds and fl*mos alike would claim victory and it will go on and on 'till the cows come home, and then they blame the cows.

We'll never hear the end of it either way. Whichever guy wins, that set of fans will never stop gloating and the other side will never stop retaliating. Pac****s and *****s are like an infestation, The only way to get rid of them for good is to exterminate them all.

Floydettes don't like the fact that Manny is far better known & liked around the world. He is adored in The Phillipines . Floyd is really a non factor. Outside of boxing no one really knows or cares who he is. That really must stick in Floyd's craw
If Manny wins the whole world will rejoice. If Floyd wins LEGITIMATELY then people will give him the credit he deserves for winning the fight but it will do little to enhance his tarnished legacy

I'm a Pac fan but to be honest, I don't care who wins so long as its a great fight. After this I will put boxing in my rearview and move on to another sport. Perhaps Tennis where it seem as if its the only physical 1-1 sport remaining where the best actually take on the best! Boxing as a sport is in the toilet with all the corruption and politics. It has to be the most frustrating sport to be a fan of.

And no Haymon will not revitalize boxing. It will fail. Boxing is faaar from what it use to be when it was on primetime tv 30yrs ago. Its all about avoiding risk for as long as possible now.

No, *****s and pac****s are like cacaroaches, they will never die. Common sense should tell you Floyd is supposed to be the sure bet here, but fighters nowadays are trying to be smarter financially and in the world of boxing politically, all the big names are creating promotional companies themselves and getting endorsements everywhere. It wouldn't surprise me if this fight Floyd won by a hair, but was so competitive that just like in the Castillo and Maidana fights, a rematch will be in order. In reality, neither of these 2 have nothing to lose. They made this fight happen once it can happen again. Both Floyd and Manny became stars cuz of Oscar, this superfight is just basically for bragging rights. But we all know it doesn't really matter who gets the W, it's who wins the event.

The worst Pac hype was about the time he beat Clottey. He was winning convincingly every fantasy match up knocking Pryor and SRL out. People were ready to proclaim him GOAT. The Marquez KO made him human again and even if he wins against Floyd people will have a somewhat realistic view of his place as an ATG. If Floyd wins some idiots will proclaim that he is TBE and it will be way more annoying to be honest. All that said I don't give a fcuk about the stans oppinion so I just hope for a good competitive fight that will elevate boxing.

So we just gonna forget knocking out Barrera? And the trilogy with Marquez or the tough fight he gave Morales?

If Pac wins, it would be a remarkable comeback from a KO loss that everyone predicted would be the end of his career.
