:rofl When you don't know how to give a valid response, just start yelling abuse. Yep, that's the way forward. :good
True but just a couple of points worth making. 1) if you sign to fight a welterweight you have to be prepared for your opponent to come in round about 160, there is no lack of credit for rehydration, it is part and parcel of the modern game. 2) the situation with this fight, whilst not unique, is rare in that guys 2 divisions apart enter the ring at the same weight. Again that's at a fighters discretion and if pac came in as a mw he has every right. 3) floyd loses credit atm for two reasons, 1) unprofessionally disregarding the agreed weight. 2) jmm has achieved nothing above lw. From a welterweight point of view this victory won't mean anything for pac. From a p4p point of view, beating a top 5 boxer weighing the same as you would be good.
I just think the gap in between Pac and JMM is a lot closer than the gap between Floyd and JMM. Pac has improved, but not to the level (and style) of Floyd where he'll be able to put forth a one-sided, dominating performance like his.
bozo your ass! No name calling here! just write it down! for Divac - 1) Pac is on PEDs 2) Juan Manuel is old for 1) 2) what else!?! pls feel free to fill in the blanks!
:roflOh o forgot if PAC losses! There is one legit excuse! Juan Manuel Marquez drank too many liters of his own pee! I wish the whole mexican boxers DOES NOT start drinking their own pee so they will be the laughing stack of the boxing community! If PAC starts drinking his own pee I'll be the first to say! HE IS CRAZY and I will be ashamed of him and I'm outta here for good!:hat
conversley i think the opposite. whereas floyd could soundly outbox jmm because he was just better at everything jmm is best at aside from combo punching, i think pac has rose to a level where he'll be able to again land his left consistently but with more speed, power and accuracy hence making it a short night. i'd love marquez to pull it out tho, i'v done a lot of watching marquez's fights and have come to the conclusion he's ridiculously underrated.
Apparently JMM fans are indeed thick headed idiots who can't comprehend that their fight night weights will be the same even if this fight is held at 140 lbs. JMM will come in at 145lbs and Pac at 148lbs regardless of the weight clause you dumb fools. The only difference is, Pac's camp will suffer a little due to adjustments that will have to be made in Pac's nurtition, training and overall schedule to conveniently make 140 since he's used to (and very very effective at) his current welterweight weigh-in weight of more or less 144lbs, but JMM's camp would not. In essende, they are saying no way can JMM win this fight with Pac, his camp included, at 100%. Straight up stupidity and homo move right there.
"Excuse"? There might be 20 people on this board who even give JMM a remote chance of winning this fight, he's 38...coming up two weight divisions, and will get beaten soundly. I love JMM, I hope he wins, but no excuses are necessary because there are only a small few who really believe this fight to be competitive.
So Manny isn't a full WW, and has to eat 7000 calories a day to maintain weight and come in at 147, yet he would have to "drain" himself to make 140?
shut up man. Nobody needs an excuse for why Manny beat him. He better win and win big , that's all I gotta say
FINE THEN! you caught on to us JMM fans, In reality... Marquez is in His Physical Prime, is a strong young Lion, and fighting in his most accomplished weight :blood Facts are facts ya *****! No he's not shot, but as the last fight he is not physically on par with Pacquiao because of age, and now even more... everything else is still Great. **** off, Pac waiting this long for my boy to age has granted him a lose lose situation, Marquez has been calling his ass out for 3 years but now the PED user finally grows balls, or the PED's aid his fear. Who knows... Anyways, it's gonna be funny when this old Past Prime Lightweight, who has continued his steady physical decline make it competitive for the Congressroid, It's gonna be funny hearing the excuses after PAC can't take out an Old JMM like he could not take out an OLD mosely.. except JMM is gonna hit back when in the counter punch stance, and make him make those funny faces, and when the fight is over the Excuses will roll as to why PAC did not have that killer instinct, why he was unable to demolish JMM ala cotto, Margo... they are gonna say PAC is shot and point at the mosely fight and his several out of ring ventures... JMM is in a WIN WIN, Pac could have easily made it at 140 to get himself more credit, but busting a mayweather at 144 is such a ***** move. They never been known for playing on even fields so it's no surprise...
That has been your dream since Pacquiao started mopping the floor with your heroes. If Pacquiao loses pigs like you will shamelessly hail Chavez Jr. the future of boxing.
