If Parker injured and Povetkin stepped in how would he do?

Of course. His boxing skills are superior.

But Carlos Takam is arguably just as skilled, if not more skilled than Povetkin and even he lost every round against Joshua.

Why do you think Povetkin would do any better? Especially when it comes to 'outboxing' Joshua and winning rounds?

I'm not saying I disagree. Just wanted to know your reasoning. I'm playing the devil's advocate here.

Povetkin vs Takam was a close fight before the knockout and Takam won many rounds against Povetkin. Unlike against Joshua where he lost every round.

Povetkin's power saved him and not necessarily his superior skills when he faced Takam. And Takam doesn't hit as hard as Joshua.

Which is why I'm asking why you think Povetkin could out-box Joshua, or even knock him out. Considering Wladimir Klitschko, a harder puncher failed to KO Joshua with his best punches. So Joshua's chin is proven to be elite level.

Klitshko was an inactive 41 y/o that dragged him off the canvas. He's been ko'd in sparring by kids and cruisers, was wrecked by a fat little Bulgarian in the ams. Elite chin my ass hole.

You seem very angry! I'm not disagreeing with any of your points. But Joshua was young and not fully developed (and maybe not as juiced up with PEDs) when he was knocked out at a young age. Boxers can and often do improve their punch resistance as they grow older and become fully grown adults.

Can you see Povetkin knocking Joshua out, when Wladimir Klischko's power punches couldn't? Yes, Wlad was inactive and 41 years old but he did land some big right hands and left hooks, did he not?
