Froch's fans will make a connection for sure. They already do. Pascal is now a world champion, but he's not the same fighter he was when he faced Froch.

yeah i agree, pascal was a complete amateur when he fought froch, his fights against Diaconu and Branco have made him into a world class world champion level fighter :patsch froch has improved himself, your argument has no weight

I dont agree with all this he lost/won in his next 5 fights so its a better/worse victory. How good a victory is should be based on the time in which they fight you. You cant say because Prescott beat Khan and now Khan is world champion that this makes prescott look even better. Fact of the matter prescott is still horse ****.

Pascal has improved more than Froch. Maybthe Kessler fight will make a difference. But since then, he was fighting exactly the same way as usual.

I can see you're one of the fans I was talking about.

When he fought Froch, Pascal was just finishing studying to become a policeman. He was not dedicated to boxing and thought he was able to beat anyone without working hard. He was wrong, of course, and his loss to Froch changed him. He began to train very seriously after that defeat.

He had only faced top 50s. Not one single very good fighter.

You say Froch has improved. Tell me how, because I don't see much improvement in his game. :think

    I can put smileys too.

:lol::lol::lol: the truth is Chad will school him, he is not the level of a world champion, i am by no means a froch fan boy but if you think that he is all of a sudden a top tier world class operator undisputed world champion material (which Froch is not) and did not train properly for his first and biggest fight to date world title shot against froch you're deluded

Bernard Hopkins gets credit for beating a middleweight version of Glen Johnson based on the fact that 7 years and 8 defeats later Johnson turned out to be a decent light heavyweight.

So the answer is yes, of course.

    Pascal won't win though.

Even if it shouldn't, it will. What B-hops did afterward made Roy's win over him look better even though Hops was green at the time, Adamek's success at Cruiser and Heavyweight has improved how Dawson's resume is viewed, Donaire coat-tailed off of what Darchynian did after Nonito knocked him out, etc. There's a thousand of examples of it, and Pascal upsetting Dawson would certainly have the same effect for Froch's resume.

All Pascal's career has changed that night. I'm not deluded because I knew him before and saw a difference after. Did you know Pascal before his fight against Froch?

I never said Pascal would win against Dawson. I say he would win a rematch against Froch though.

Thats what I was thinking, even with the same fight and fighters, because at the time Johnson hadnt beaten anyone of real note

Yes, you're right my friend. When we compare Pascal-Froch and Pascal-Diaconu II, it's very obvious that Jean Pascal is not the same fighter. He has more stamina and knows how to follow a match plan from the beginning to the end of a fight.

Froch is probably a better fighter now. But it's now crystal clear. We have to take into consideration his last 4 wars. Perhaps he's a more complete fighter with the experience he gained, maybe he's on the downhill.
