:thumbsup Exactly. Personally i thought his effort was a joke. He sure didn't fight like he was the challenger last night.

It was luck luster to a degree but his plan was obviously try get to Khan later in the fight.
If you were Mccloskey(same skills), how would your game plan go?? Given the speed at which Khan starts in fights, I think he was doing the right thing in trying to weather the storm.

The main problem was it was a **** WORLD TITLE FIGHT in the first place

His game plan was utter shite, Khan hardly had a glove layed on him, I doubt he would have been on his last legs in the latter rounds. McCloskey isn't Maidana.

McCloskey needs to back to fighting in pubs and youth clubs. Team McCloskey have been a bunch of amateurs right from the start of negoitiations. McCloskey only turned up to get paid, explains why Team McCLoskey were begging for more money.

LOL @ McCloskey comment "Khan is decent but not that good of a fighter" - so what does make you then eh Paul???

Actually fight instead of sticking your head out daring Amir to punch him.

He came to showboat. His trainer is a tosser.

He came trying to look slick but looked so funny when Khan was picking him off and he was attempting to dodge those punches

Breen " He won't give us a rematch " hahaha, Mcloskey looked like he was participating in a fight for Comic Relief, i saw more skill on display when I went to the fight on show in the only way is essex

Granted the match had zero significance BUT Paul was given a HUGE opportunity and he thoroughly pissed it away. Stylistically he was a joke. As iv already said he doesn't have the talent to pull off that style and frankly he looked ridiculous. Additionally not once did he take the fight to Khan.
The ending was dire but this was entirely Pauls own fault as the opportunity was there for the taking.
If you want to win fights and punctuate them start by throwing punches.
