The issue with moving forward against that Ruizesque punch and grab **** is that he's using your movement against you. You move and he moves too and before you can get a punch off he's on your chest. The key is to not move forward and to just pop him with the jab when he opens up. Force him to take two steps instead of one and he'll leave himself open eventually for a counter.

It wasn't really hard to figure out what Quintana was doing in the first fight. They watched tapes on Williams and saw how he gave up his height by moving forward throwing multiple punches. Quintana simply made for an ugly fight and barely edged it. I knew that fight was a mistake for Williams and the rematch proved it.

I think it was also a case where PW thought since Cotto ko'd Q, PW thought he could also. PW tried to walk through Q with no regard to defense and tried to blow Q out, and PW got countered all night. In the rematch, Williams was more aggressive, and even traded with Q which is how he hurt him.

Williams/Mayweather dont share fan bases. Both sets of fans would go at it if the fight happened.
