Since the loss to Quintana he has been dominant(despite what people say about his competition) and beating Pavlik in impressive style would put him at #3 in my book.

Where ever he is already. At least NOW he'd have deserved it. It's astonishing how high some place him based on just who he's beaten.

P4P was NEVER about weight jumping. It was about being P4P THE BEST....which should involve fighting guys who are the best, not just fighting anyone jumping around in weight classes.

If Paul wins, he'll have exactly THREE big wins. That's enough to make him some top P4P fighter? No wonder P4P is such a joke....

That and everyone seems to have a different definition. WWM seems to think Pdub should vault to number one, but by his very own definition, Pac Man has done it across more weight classes.

More weight classes and HUGE difference in level of comp. It's just insane how high people have Williams based on who he's actually beaten.

are you nuts? You honestly think williams would deserve to be ranked above Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao after two or 3 good victories.

5-7 seems fair --- the win is huge, but I think it'll take just a little more to one-up the sub-5 guys

well i believe that Cotto will beat Pacquiao either putting him up to one or two alongside Mayweather, Pac and himself.

    Margarito
    Quintana
    Wright
    Pavlik

This does not make you the p4p number two! And the guy lost only a few fights ago! This would appear to have been written off however. Basically Williams would be top 5, i voted 4. But the guy is so overrated by some it defies belief.

Walk with me would have P-Will top 5 p4p even if he loses to Pavlik ( probably an 'off night' )

How many "big wins" has Mayweather had?
