Williams wasnt lucky to win vs Martinez. Martinez slowed in the middle round and Williams came back and won a close fight. Get the ****kkk over it already.

ANd the Cintron fight was not even 4 full rounds and Williams started to come on.

    Cotto! At the MSG!

PW Would take it in a heartbeat. Has wanted this fight since 2007. And has been ducked by Arum ever since he beat Margarito.

Cotto's a free agent now. Problem is Pdub brings high purse demand yet doesn't bring anything of note to the purse. Not Paul's fault. His promoter just doesn't do his job.

That's one thing that annoys me too. People always bitching about how Paul was "lucky" to win.

If Martinez had got the decision, would you have said he was "lucky"?

It was a great fight, where they put it all on the line and no one's reputation went down

He should spend a year or two without fighting a southpaw who can counter.

I think the best option is to move back to 160 and challenge Jermaine Taylor that fight could be interesting at this stage of their careers, is winnable and he probably can make decent money doing so. If he stays at 154 he can take on Trout for the title, at this point of his career he should stay away from Martinez (atleast you got one win) and Lara.I'm pretty sure some of the big money fights such as Cotto (two words: Bob Arum) and Alvarez (I'm not sure DLH wants to risk a potential cash cow) won't fight him.

No. But I've never really been impressed with Williams and never knew what it was that people went crazy about him for. He's a good volume fighter with no defense and all action. I think he's still finished though, Ishida had him hurt a couple of times and he isn't a puncher but Ishida isn't anything to write home about either, had plenty of times where he could have made Paul pay but didn't go for it, a decent overall fighter who showed toughness though.

That was not a good performance... same **** as always volume punching and in fighting, a black JCC JR...

JCC JR vs Williams would be a cool inside war

    Indeed.

He has only had problems with one type of fighter.

And for the guy who said he hasn't beaten anyone good and is just lucky?

Margarito was definitely at his peak when Paul beat him.
Martinez wasn't a lucky win, he earned that fight.
    Blame Kermit for the frog-hop.
Lara was definitely questionable, but you can't blame P for working hard that night.
