Not Hatton hugging at all - I have seen a fair bit of Cotto and know that he was only a shadow of himself in there. I think you are right about his mental state though, I would imagine after beating 43 opponents straight it would take a while to get right mentally again, especially given the stick he copped over here for his 'unprofessional behaviour' following the win over Castillo when the Mayweather fight was nailed on, and after his loss to Floyd when he drank more in four days than I did in a week on a stag do :rofl I just don't see Paulie winning full stop - suppose everybody is entitled to their opinion, but hittable guys with no power are tailor made for Ricky, as his head movement is non-existent these days and he likes blocking punches with his face. I would agree though that the 147 version P4P/H2H is ahead of Hatton, but the 140 version head to head or P4P (whichever you prefer) gives away too much to Hatton IMO.
Only a few things stop me from thinking the same about PM vs Pac. 1- how will mannys strength be at 140 and 2 how far will his speed fall off being so far out of his natural weight? We Know paulie is slick and quick and while he cannot knockout the bigger 140s, Pacman is naturally down in 125land... I think those punches may just accumulate. ALso- I dont see Pac producing a punishment that miguel did to paulie so I'd be very interested to see how that fight went. The biggest boon against this fight happening is the money that Pac demands and the lack of fanbase that Paulie has at this stage...
