If pavlik beats AA then will he get the credit he deserves?

Yeah, Pavlik and Abraham are clearly the best in the division, so whoever beats the other, should get a lot of credit and is certainly "the man".

I never gave him any stick for losing to Hopkins.Too much is read into a defeat these days.I did think it was a mistake for Kelly to move up in weight and take on such an experienced fighter and give that fighter the advantage of weight.I think Pavlick is very good and the sport needs guys like him.The Abraham fight needs to be made and it looks like been a good fight.Im not sure Kelly would win it but if he did he deserves a lot of credit,i just hope it happens(and is in Germany not usa)

Im going to say it right now Pavlik will not beat Double A unless he changes his lead trainer !! I saw nothing in the Rubio fight that showed that he made dramatic changes to his arsenal ! Oh wait instead of a double jab its now a triple !atsch

on the pavlik thing, I think the poster that said that after the hop fight, people saying he is somewhat one dimensional, but hop can make even the best look one dimensional

I think he needs to make adjustments in order to beat double A !

 

Why wouldn't he? Abraham is one of the guys who shares the MW crown. All you have to do is beat the top dude to prove you're #1. That's what Pavlik fans seem to be missing. We want Abraham and Pavlik to decide whose THE MAN as one would say.

 

The thing with pavlik is, the fact that he can hurt guys through the guard, so AA better move and not lay on the ropes. The thing with AA though is that, i have never seen anyone in his career who can bang with him when hes on the offensive because he hits so damn hard and is so physically strong. Pavlik need to make AA pay for his style of fighting in bursts, particularly more body work to take the steam of AA's punches.

This fight wont happen for a while though yet as their isnt enough hype.

 

Rubio was actually a good tuneup fight for AA. Good defense and guard. Pavlik was patient when working the guard. Pick shots and step back. AA likes to lull you to sleep there. So add the reach advantage and Kelly showed us what it would be like against AA. AA has NEVER faced the level of competition Pavlik has. This will be a step up for AA.

Once he fights AA what does he do anyhow? His titles have motivated him when it comes to weight. So SMW is not as near as it once seemed for him. After AA things will be pretty anti-climatic in the MW division. One reason this fight does not need to be rushed, but built.

 

No he wasn't he had the perfect style for Pavlik ..Rubio for one doesn't have the pop that Double A has to keep Kelly Honest ..And his defense is no where as good as his either ..
