and please no ridiculous suggestions such as nacho beristein or other trainers you know he isn't going to go with.

anyways IMO it would be Manny Steward, he is a Manny type of fighter with the long jabs and hard right, manny will fix his footwork right up and teach him a few more tricks.

Yep, probably Manny would be the best fit.

If Steward could do for Pavlik's defense what he's done for Wlad's, Pavlik would be virtually unbeatable at 160.

Yup,,, Steward would be a great fit.

I wish he would make a move like that... he needs to iron out that defence for sure.

Try and get a copy of the Lyell/Duddy fight if you can. You can hear Loew's cornering for the whole fight because he seems to be next to the broadcasters. You won't here 'double jab' all fight long. Lyell is a different fighter and got different cornering. Pavlik/Loew have one loss on a night where the biggest mistake was not postponing the fight because of Kelly's physical condition.

They announce Kelly will box more and even throw in words like "yoga" before the Rubio fight and he still took **** on that fight because he did do things different. WTF? When he goes into search and destroy mode he is a one dimensional slugger. When be boxes more and makes his opponent quit and cry in his corner he has lost his edge and looked bad. :patsch

    Manny Steward:patsch:rofl:patsch

You mean the guy that told Jermain; "You got him fighting at a pace he's not used to," after round 1 of Pavlik/Talyor I. The same guy that said, "your conditioning is wearing him down. He's ready to go," after round 6 of the same fight.

    Manny Steward:patsch

The same guy that said "Andy Lee will beat Kelly Pavlik by the end of 2008."

I would be an advocate of Miguel Diaz taking a more active roll in Kelly's fight preparation. I would not be an advocate of KP leaving the man who raised him from a child to a champion.

If Abraham got a bye against Marquez because he was ill(I don't even believe he was sick, more like could not make weight) Pavlik MOST DEFINITELY should have as well if he was in no condition to fight.

Wrong. Taylor's troubles go beyond any trainer-his heart. And there have been plethora of trainers, for better or worse, that have gloated and made ridiculous and pompous predictions about there fighters only to fall short or eat there words. I think Stewart would be a fine choice. But I would agree that changing Leow would be a bad idea. I don't think much of Leow, but there is strong trust and understanding between the two, and that would be extremely hard to replace with any new trainer.

OK. Care to give an answer? Go ahead and pick mine apart if you don't like it. Don't forget to tell us what qualifies you to make a multi million decision on Pavlik's future for him other than being a keyboard warrior. Other than reading **** on line, what qualifies you to make this decision for him? Don't be shy. Tell us. This should be good.
