If Pavlik defeats Hopkins, who should he fight next?

Calzaghe. AA isn't going anywhere and why doesn't he fight Sturm to decide who the best German MW is.

 

AA offered to fight Sturm, doubling Sturm's highest payday, and Sturm turned him down. Sturm only loses his belt to a mandatory. He won't willingly risk his trinket.

 

I agree with you on the some of this but one thing I would disagree on is blaming HBO for who Pavlik fights. Obviously HBO has the money but there are other options. Showtime, Fox, Vs, Espn or even no tv coverage at all. Pavlik and his team could have taken any of those routes but opted instead for the HBO money. Can't blame them for wanting it or HBO for wanting Hopkins. But Arum and Pavlik have other options out there. That may have involved a big pay cut or some other pains but Arum could have passed on HBO.

 

I'm looking for a source for the Bhop/Wright match if anyone can point me in the proper direction. Thanks.

I'd say Abraham but if he's having trouble making 160 then he can permanently move up to 168 and challenge Kessler.
