there is no doubt that he would have been lauded and rightly so. he should still have stopped pavlik , when pavlik got up. it was taylor, iniatiating the clinches in round 2 despite it being pavlik auditioning for breakdance 3. taylor simply cannot maintain a high tempo, even for 1 round.
Personally, I think Pavlik was exposed by JT. It is overlooked because JT didn't have the discipline to close shop and ran out of steam, but a more disciplined fighter who knows how to use their energy wisely would KO Pavlik. ie Calzaghe.
If Pavlik didnt get up in the 2nd round and lost by KO..he would of been viewed an overrated. And Taylor would of erased some critics of his last two fights.
why did pavkin taunt taylor while doing the judah dance? was he trying to say, don't play with matches? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stLDd0Oq978
if he didn't get up then they would say that he was overrated bum! But he did get up so he proved that he is no bum! And KTFO Taylor that proves he is good fighter!
there seems to be idiots on both sides here. . . one camp of idits would have said Pavlik was an overated bum . . .blah blah blah . . . the other camp would not have posted for a week.
My first impression would be that Taylor probably won, next I would log on to ESB and learn that Pavlik was a bum from the beginning.
