Pavlik will get ko by bigger, better fighters. At 168 pounds, Pavlik will lose to Kessler, Ward, Dirrell, Abraham, Froch, Green (yes i said it cause Green has faster hands and a proven puncher at supermiddleweight), Bute.

Are you ****ing kidding me? You want Kelly Staphlik to get in the ring with a Light Heavyweight? Dude you're on something. He can't even win at 168. Do you know the difference between Super Middleweight and Light Heavyweight?

He will lose to all of the super 6 fighters, he will get knocked out by Kessler, Abraham, Ward and Froch, he will lose a decision to Dirrell. I dont know how good Green is till I see him fighting Ward.

taylor gassed after being up on the cards against froch and fought the most timid fight ive ever seen him fight against abraham and finally got caught which is exactly what is supposed to happen when you step into the ring and fight trying not to get hurt.

hey man, i don't think he can hang w/ ward, dirrell and bute with what he has shown lately. but i wasnt overly impressed w/ froch and kessler in their fight (both of them for that matter) and he would beat green.

Kessler is a more skilled Pavlik type of fighter. Pavlik would get knocked out, no way is Pavlik better than Froch. Kessler has problems with fast skilled fighters (Calzaghe, Ward) but he will beat any fighter in the world who stands upright and comes to fight.

I do not understand the logic behind claiming that a bunch of guys who were living off Pavlik's left overs are way better than he is.

no the kessler who fought calzaghe is not the same kessler from the last handful of fights. that's no knock on mikkel b/c i have always been a big fan of his but he hasnt looked the same in a while. this would be more competitive than everyone is making out. he was hitting alot of air against froch and was getting hit a lot. on top of that those cuts are going to be an ongoing issue (and may well be for pavlik as well)

Maybe its because you havent seen them fight, I´ve called Pavlik overrated since the Taylor fights, he will get knocked out by most of the super 6 fighters, trust me on this one.

Because we, unlike you, can look at fighters skill-sets and judge them on that.

That is false logic I have to say. Jermain Taylor's career is seriously misinterpreted anyway. He was struggling vs. light-middleweights such as Wright and Spinks (I had both winning) BEFORE the Pavlik KO and I don't buy the KO or weight gain changed him bull**** since many in boxing had him WINNING the Pavlik rematch at 164, and he did just fine vs. Froch at 168, also in the early rounds vs. Abraham. And the stamina problems were there vs. Hopkins too. I just don't see a vastly different Taylor in the Joppy, Hopkins, Wright, Spinks, Pavlik, Froch and Abraham fights (other than the Steward period), but I definitely see vastly different opponents and the same holes they used or couldn't use against Jermain. So my point is, the "shot" and "not big enough" Taylor at 168lbs is totally false logic when you see JT performing better vs. Froch at 168 than vs. Spinks at 160, and Pavlik's case is very different anyway.

Pavlik lost to smart movers with excellent adaptation and timing, weight had nothing to do with it, and there's absolutely NO REASON to think coming forward type of fighters are going to give him problems just because they are bigger. No sir, I think given proper opponent selection, Pavlik will do just fine and won't have the "Taylor effect", which then again, is not really the effect people believe.

I wouldn't underestimate Pavlik...Martinez is better than people think...i say he loses to Ward but he has a shot at beating anyone else in the super 6
