Almost every statement you made here is incorrect. Arum wanted Pavlik to fight Rubio in the fall of '08. Pavlik chose Hopkins not Arum or Dunkin.

Pavlik did choose to fight Williams. PDub turned down a career high pay day to fight Cintron for less money and no title. That's when Pavlik chose Martinez; after Williams ran the other way.

Leow gave Pavlik the right advice throughout the Martinez fight. Pavlik did not listen.

How would Pavlik possibly make a fight with Abraham, Froch, or Kessler when they all have long term commitments to the super six?

Like I said, your entire post is a long series of factual errors.

Against WHO? Certainly not against Dawson, Cloud, or Pascal.

Last few times I've seen Pascal he has been far from impressive. He was out boxed by Froch.

    Pascal would beat Pavlik comfortably.

Typical Pavlik hate on ESB. The same guys who insisted that if KP had any balls he'd move up now claim everyone in the top 20 in either division would knock him out. It also amazes me that the same people who always claimed Pavlik is a bum now claim Martinez is a great p4p fighter based on a win over Pavlik.

But the certainty that Ward and Froch will KO Pavlik seems misplaced. Ward doesn't hit hard enough to KO Miranda, but he will KO Pavlik? And Froch was lucky that Taylor gassed, got a gift against Dirrell and was beaten by Kessler who is somewhat similar to Pavlik stylistically. I am not all pro Pavlik by any means, but Froch is hardly invincible.

Green's a proven puncher at super middlweight? :blood Are we sure De Leon just doesn't take the best shot? We know for damn sure that's true of "The Don", his other big KO scalp at the weight...

Pavlik can take Green, IMO - as easily at 168 as he would have at 160. The rest are iffy. Pavlik's actually easier to hit than Taylor, but has a better gas tank (though his isn't infinite either). It'd be interesting.

Lord knows my stance as a Pavlik skeptic has been as clear from day one as has been yours as a supporter of his - but I'm actually curious to see how he does at SMW. I'd barely favor the top 5 to knock him out, and they'd be skating on thin ice themselves most of the way.

I actually think if he had balls he'd stop pretending he can't make weight (or simply say NO to the Hoppin' Frog...) and take the rematch with Maravilla. :deal

The weight problem is genuine, at least I believe it is. The last fight proved it. There was serious doubts he would even make weight.

I didn't say Ward would ko Pavlik. If i say that my bad but anyway i think Ward would beat Pavlik rather easily by decision.
