...which one is more likely?? Quote is from Arum.

Would Abraham agree to come to the US now that the S6 is over, and provided he snatches that WBO belt from Stieglitz?

Would Bute or Froch be interested in Pavlik or would the winner go after Ward right away since SOG tweeted he'd fight the winner?

After the june 8th fight I want to see him in there with Chavez jr. I think Chavez jr is a fairly low risk high reward fight for Pavlik and the fight would give him lots of momentum. After that I would like to see him fight Martinez.

Way to early for me to speculate about a Pavlik path, especially since the weight hasn't been decided.

Arum alludes to options for him at 168, assuming that's "the most comfortable weight" for him.

I think he could Rodriguez on BAD in the Fall, and aim for someone like Abraham, Bute or even Dirrell (provided he does something meaningful between now and the end of the summer) by the end of the year.

No way Abraham fights outside Germany, plus he has Stieglitz/Groves lined up.

Pavlik-Bute seems far more likely & would make more financial sense in Canada/USA

Wished I wouldn't have to spoon-feed you guys the aforementioned quote, but here it is from the Scene:

Pavlik will attempt to slowly get down to 160-pounds, but even Pavlik admits there is no guarantee that he will get there.

"Pavlik will return in June and we hope to get him into a major fight before the end of year," Arum told Boxing.Scene.com. "We have to determine what is the ideal weight for Pavlik and go from there."

If Pavlik ends up at 168-pounds, two of the potential future opponents, according to Arum, are Arthur Abraham and Lucian Bute.

"At 168, he could fight someone like an Arthur Abraham, and there is also Lucian Bute," Arum said.

I read the thread and I have seen lots of fight options for Pavlik. It all depends on his weight. If he can't get low enough in weight to fight Chavez a Abraham fight would be good I think. After that maybe if Pavlik can't get down to 160, Froch would be a good fight.

That's what I'm thinking too. Abraham will be happy to fight Stieglitz late summer for the WBO title, and defend it 3-4 times in Germany before retiring.

Just don't know if Ward will show genuine interest for a Bute fight after Bute-Froch. Right now he seems willing.

hmm what about bute ward? if bute beats froch thats the only fight that should happen imo. So more than likely it will be neither sice aa most likely fight in the us. my bet is either direll or looser of froch bute.

Maybe Arum knows something we don't. For some reason Bute is in his Pavlik book at 168, well knowing Bute wants Ward ASAP.

Loser of Froch-Bute would make sense to a certain extent, agreed.

Pavllik should go to Germany to fight Abraham. The money is in Germany not USA.

Valid point. Counter point, they use that money to buy decisions.

I wouldn't mind seeing KP at 168. He won't be as big there obviously, but he will be a force in the 168 division. Pavlik Kessler anyone.

Kessler is fighting at LHW for a less-than-paper title. :conf

The only fight at 168 that I want to see is Bute vs Ward. If Ward won"t fight with Bute regardless how great will be Bute against Froch , then Bute should move up at LHW where he can fight with Pascal or Hopkins vs Dawson II winner :yep.

I'd like to see Pavlik vs Andre/Anthony Dirrell :yep.
