If PBF and Canelo were the same size no one would even be talking about this fight

Yes Canelo will weigh close to 170 or more on fight night. He balloons up in weight on fight night like JCC Jr does. While PBF will be around 151. Size is his only advantage in this fight.

Its hardly a David and Goliath type battle. When you look at a picture of the two of them together the size difference is minimal.

It could be ten pounds it could be fifteen pounds and if both of them refuse to do an unofficial weigh in we will have to go with the official one which means there might not be any difference at all.

so if they don't show the fight night weights, you'll just assume Floyd is weighing 165+ pounds :good

    You're the one making assumptions.

I won't assume anything Alvarez could be 172 like he was against Trout or he could be 164 like he was against Lopez. Floyd will probably be mid 150s at most but if we don't get an unofficial weigh in it will all be guesswork.

I don't understand what's with the "size" here in this forum, But in the real world size doesn't matter, it all comes with skills toughness and balls, Good examples in boxing are Marquez and Pacquiao, Pacquiao was suppose to be "bigger" and got schooled and KTFO by the "smaller" Marquez, Margarito was 5 times bigger then Pacquiao and got beating into retirement, Williams was twice as big as Quintana and Martinez and got whooped by both And I can go on and on, This is going to be a very tough fight for Mayweather, regardless of size, All comes down to skills, I can't remember the last time Mayweather fought a young undefeated champion with great defense and offense Jab good power on BOTH HANDS (Not just one ala Cotto) smart patience hungry fighter.

LOL no. Not even close. 154 DLH is leagues above Canelo. That is just one example.

    Disagree,

Canelo has no amateur experience, his only experience is fighting 40 cab drivers and painters. He has faced no one that will prepare him for Floyd Jr his only Plus going into this fight is SIZE and Strength, other then that I do (NOT (for the ******* so critical of mistakes )think he has enough tools in this belt to handle Floyd. As far as Canelo being better skilled the Cotto ?? Let not be disrespectful, cause no way in hell is Canelo better skilled then Cotto.

Not that I necessarily disagree with that statement, but how do you figure Guerrero was any better of an opponent?

LOL WUT? How many chromosomes do you have? Did you even read what you wrote there? :rofl:rofl

his only plus going into this fight is SIZE and strength, but otherwise you think he has enough tools to handle Floyd?

WHAT THE PHUCK DOES THAT STATEMENT EVEN MEAN?

    :patsch

Considering He was Ten when Floyd was defending his title, and this kid has no amateur experience how is that possible?
