If PBF comes back i'm pushing for him to fight Margarito

Its not about the belts ... I think that if Margarito had the recognized championship then it would give him some credibility. He can't get too far with 5 losses ... he would have to bring something to the table.

I don't think that Williams is a marketable foe ... he doesn't have that large of fan base and he has to get some more clout ... it would take Williams some years to get on that level.

add to that the 154 division sucks --

 

After watching the Cotto fight again ... its going to be hard for Cotto to beat Margarito ... he kept backing up straight into the ropes and when he would pivot, he would leave himself hope for the straight right hand of Margarito. Also he kept switching to southpaw ... it wasn't working for him because he didn't throw many right hands at all.

He also was hesitant to throw when Margarito missed ... he never made him pay ...

He didn't tie Margarito up on the inside ...

Its going to be tough ... I don't know if he's going to do anything different.

I know if that was Tito against Margarito ... he wouldve put his head down and made it an inside fight in the middle of the ring.

Cotto has the faster hands ... he didn't elect to stay in the middle of the ring ... he didn't hold till he got hurt ... every time that Margarito got within arms length of him, he shouldve tied him up ... then when they got seperated, opened Margarito up with a one- two.

Margarito's going to have a stiff test against Mosley, but if he beats Mosley then gets past Cotto a second time, there's no one else for him to fight other than Williams, but Williams isn't going to fight at welterweight no more and Margarito doesn't want to mess up a potentially huge fight down the road.

If HBO offered Floyd some extra money to fight Margarito (just to sweeten the pot) i'm sure that'll be enough for Floyd to come back.

 

Also Cotto kept moving to his left, never to his right ... when he bounced from side to side, he momentarily confused Margarito ... but once he became stationary again ... Margarito went to work.

Cotto got exposed ... but there still is a way for him to win ... if he could get a points victory.

No one expected Cotto to knock him out ... (except for me) but thats not going to happen. Cotto will have to win rounds and survive Margarito's attack.

 

Against Margarito?

Don't tell me that you think if Margarito continues to win that Floyd would over look him.

Because i'm telling you ... I don't think that Pac is going to beat Hatton ... not at 140.
