yes he'd definitely pick up a few losses along the way. now look people tend to say oscar had trouble even in his youth against fast fighterswhile this is true its not the same.pea and shane both had excellent offense and threw great combinations.there is no way pot shot and run would keep a younger faster de la hoya off him.as for forrest and wink floyd doesn't have enogh power to keep either one of them honest.as for cotto still in the air.

just for the record this thread was true i am glad im the only that doesnt realize how overrated floyd is... but in all honesty he might have the best skills but no heart to go along w/ it he has been avoiding the best welters for so long its a disgrace....Im a huge mosley fan that feels the fight between ssm an cotto couldve gone either way.. i didnt think much of cotto but hes got my respect more than pbf.... He takes on all challenges at least, win or lose..

You don't remember Oscar getting hurt cuz he never got hurt. I have watched that fight a thousand times and don't know what they are saying. What's funny is now the joyboys are saying that Floyd won the final ten second scrap. :patsch

The only one I would tip against Floyd is Winky at 154.

Above 147, Floyd would struggle but Shane only fought Winky and Dela Hoya there. A shot Vargas might cause problems with size, but be thoroughly outboxed.

I'd tip Floyd over Oscar at anytime and any weight, but that's just me. I'd also favour Floyd over Forrest, but can see the stylistic problem there... It's not as if Floyd has shown vulnerabilities to guys with height, though.

If any other idiot brings up the Gatti fight as to a testament to how bad ass Mayweather is I'm gonna puke on my keyboard. DLH destroyed Gatti in 2001. The Gatti Mayweather had fought in 2005 had already been tko'd by dlh and had gone through the famous Micky Ward wars. Please don't bring this fight up again. Floyd was SUPPOSED to destroy Gatti. Had he not we would not be talking about Floyd right now. Damn, Gomez destroyed Gatti, therefore was he equal to Cotto. Get the **** outta here.
