Would he still be undefeated and vice versa for Sweet Pea facing Mayweathers opponents?

There isnt one opponant on Mayweather's record that I see Pea even coming close to losing to.

Mayweather would probably lose to a prime Hoya at welter..Prime Tito at welter is a toss up for me..I think McGirt at welter would be a hard one for him aswell.

From the guys 135-140...I think Mayweather probably beats them all...Though I reckon he only eeks past guys like Pendleton, Ramirez and Nelson.

Both would be undefeated against like opponents, Whitaker should have got the DLH verdict and would school Tito nearer his prime

Their winning records are similar imo. Mayweather might be beaten by De la Hoya and tito if he fought them at a similar stage of his career as whitaker. Whitaker would beat everyone on mayweathers record espeically as mayweather as fought everyone near enough in his prime.

Agreed with pretty much everything. He'd probably beat Ramirez pretty comfortably though. Pendleton at his best would've been hell for a lot of fighters.

I love having discussions with people about Freddie, when its clear they have never seen him fight.

They scurry off to boxrec..take one look at this record and think they are pretty safe saying he sucked...dumb shits.

I don't see Mayweather beating DLH, Tito, Chavez or Vasquez (this ain't Baldomir folks). Fights with Nelson and McGirt would be close to 50/50 affairs, but I'd probably lean towards Floyd.

Whitaker might lose a round to Judah, the DLH Floyd fought and perhaps Castillo or Hatton might jag one. The rest should/would be shutouts.:good

I think Whitaker would be undefeated, in fact Im positive, Im not sure about Mayweather`s chances because you have prime Tito, prime hoya, close to prime McGirt & a still very good Chavez amonst other very capable fighters.

Thats more or less exactly the way I see it, word for word.

How do you see a Floyd-Chavez playing out ?
I give Mayweather a real good shot at the version of Chavez that fought Pea... I usually take most versions of Chavez over Floyd but IMO this fight was the 1st fight that started JCC on the downward slope.

Ps. if FMJ did beat that version & thats a big IF, he wouldnt do it nowhere near as good as Whitaker did it.... that was class in a glass by Pea.

Pea would still be undefeated yes, and wouldn't have taken too turns to beat Castillo decisively.

It depends. Could Floyd beat his uncle in just his 12th professional bout? He didn't look as polished at this point of his career and it's possible that Roger lands his big right hand on him as he did on Whitaker.

Could Mayweather deal with prime Oscar/Trinidad in his mid/late 30's? I doubt it.
