Would it be possible for Paul Williams to establish himself as the P4P king in a few years?

i don't see him being able to maintain weight at 147, and i don't see him going well at 154 or 160. He's got a lot of work to do to even establish himself as a top-10 P4P fighter.

The man has fought in ONE world title fight. I think it's way way too early to assume off that victory he's potentially the best fighter in the world in the next few years. He's been inactive for 6 months already. I sense it's going to be another young champion pulling a Jermain Taylor fighting twice a year like he's won a couple championships in a couple divisions and established himself as a PPV draw.

He would have to beat Cotto and Mosley. His size and punch output would be a problem for anybody, even Mayweather.

PW still has to prove himself. He should fight Mosley next. Cotto would probably beat him.

    This will happen:

PBF will return to the ring in 2009 and will be past his prime.

Too early to tell. The guy's only major fight at this point is Margarito. Let's see if he can make it past Cotto at 147.

. . . and beating Cotto alone won't make him a P4P king . . . I can see him going up to 154 because of weight problem . . . and guess who's up there? Vernon Forrest and Spinks and a lot of tough SOBs. :D

Absolutely. How can the bloom not come off the rose in two years?
