If Cotto wants to fight PBF and PBF ducks him then his legacy will be tarnished.

Of course there are always fights out there. He could go ahead and clean the division, but it's not going to be easy (not because of the opposition but because fights can take their toll on a fighter). If he wants to clean all three contenders out in a year (before others emerge) then it's not going to be easy, but it would definitely get him more respect and even better ratings then before.

Spot on mate, I have all the respect in the world for Floyds talent but the nuthugging is just getting stupid, Cotto a far tougher test than Hatton yet these boxrec bitches act like it would be a forgone conclusion.

I notice a lot of people saying Floyd's only choice is to retire or fight Cotto. How are these his ONLY choices? What about Williams? He isn't Cotto, but he's still a top 10, ****, a top 2 (according to The Ring at least) welterweight.

Oscar wants to fight Cotto, and this fight makes sense. After Cotto fights Oscar, then a fight with Mayweather will HAVE to happen. But right now I think Mayweather still has options.

Or if two of the other top welterweights fight each other, like Cintron and Margarito again, or Cintron and Williams, why couldn't Floyd fight one of them?

I would be able to mention a coupla of other names that would be Mayweather's toughest bouts to this date but then you would say that those names are not in the same stardom/finantial plateau so I won't mention them... Don't want to start spanish speaking tornados or sugar shocks in our mind frames. Still, Cotto would be a tougher bout for Floyd than this last one ever was supposed to be.

Now please explain how you come up with that one..I don;t cheer for PBF becuase, IMO, he is a disgrace to the human race...why we should forgeet this guys major characters flaws becuase he has major boxing skills....in my book that doesn;t matter, and the Money AKA just cap what I taught about PBF..a shallow insewcurred *******...give him all the money in the world and he still a what he is....
BTW- When did I cheer for ODLH fighting Cotto , IT WAS WELL PUBLIZIED ON ESB THAT I WASNO EVEN CHEERING FOR THE COTTO V.ODLH FIGHT THAT ALL OF YOU AT ESB TAUGHT IT WAS THE BIGGEST FIGHT OF THEIS AND THE LAST CENTURY...INCLUDING YOUR ******ED SELF EZE....NOW THAT IS DISGRACEFUL

There's no need at all for a rematch. The only reason they would do a rematch would be for money. And if Floyd did go that route, it wouldn't be a stretch to say he is ducking Cotto.

And yes, I know Floyd wanted to fight Cotto a couple years ago, but that has nothing to do with today. Not to mention Cotto is better today then he was when Floyd wanted him.
