I didn't dismiss it, I just called it what it is, just like WLAD's trainer did...try it out, it doesn't hurt as bad as you think.:smoke

Maybe I was watching a different fight, but in my eyes Sam Peter has improved vastly from when he fought Wladdy boy. He moves his head now and blocks punches with his gloves. It was target practice from Klit last time around, I think Klit will be in a more dangerous spot if they fight again (I picked Klit the fight time btw because I thought Peter was a very limited fighter, I think he has some game now).

Sam Peter in his 4th fight.

    Looked better than tonight.

If you ask me, I think that Peter is getting worse. Yes, he may move his upper body a bit more... but his feet get slower and slower every time out. He almost looks as if he is stuck in mud half the time. Look how well Peter used to move on his feet. I have been following him for quite some time now.

Are you ****ing kidding me? :patsch

Dude look. Some very basic and serious flaws with his approach here. One, you do not step in like that behind a weak jab.

Two, you do not reach with left hooks or right hands, it leaves you open to counters.

Three, you do NOT attack an opponent who is against the ropes with reckless abandon. You do it while protecting yourself.

Sam was in with a bum. This was classic old style clubbing Samuel. A far cry from the guy who is in there now.

He had to learn at some point and James Toney, along with Waldo woke him up. Fighting like he fought Giles Knox would mean he would have been iced very easily at the top level of heavyweights.

Peter still does everything that you mentioned.

The only difference in Sam now is that his upper body movement is a bit better. He is worse at flat out ducking punches, but he is better at absorbing, rolling. However his feet are SLOW AS HELL compared of what they used to be. I don't give a **** about his opponent, I am not talking about his win. I am talking about the way that he moved his body. His footwork was 10 times what it is now, and he used a very good jab... and would commit to the body in his earlier fights. He only needs to move his head so much now, because his feet are stuck in mud. He still clubs most of the time, but also can throw straight punches just like he was ALWAYS able to do.

If Peter fights Wlad again, or Vitali at all, he will get plastered....Peter has regressed over the last few years in my opinion, and his best asset (his chin) has been cracked and isn't the same since he took that powerfull hook from Wlad in the last round of their fight that him on ***** street.

So many here, who are ignorant about boxing, do not know that Klitschkos and Peter is really a mismatch, but please help make this fight happen.

Major differences that you fail to comment on. One noteworthy change is that his jab is much much stiffer now and faster. That was apparent to the Showtime team during the Toney rematch. Secondly his right hand has straightened out a whole lot. He doesn't loop it so much anymore like he used to. Notice how often Maskaev was hit solid on his cheeks? That's new improvements there. He also does not go balls to the wall when he has an opponent hurt. He has a brake now where he sees that his opponent won't go away he backs off. That came right from the first Toney fight.

Another factor here is that Sam doesn't have to run around the ring chasing these guys when they are willing to come to him. McCline left the impression that Sam is vunerable. And Maskaev fell for it.

Lots of changes have taken place. And I find it unbelievable that you've followed Sam's career for this long only to think he has regressed. Waldo will run into a Sam who has a solid jab, better defensive skills and a more measured approach. The rematch will be anything but easy for Waldo.

Emanuel wants a fight with Peter ASAP. He knows Peter is made for Vlad, but it's up to Vitali. If Vitali fights Peter he will knock Peter out, but if he allows Vlad to fight Peter, Vlad will have to get King and Peter to sign a contract. We have to wait on Vitali's decision, after that, if Vitali does not fight Peter, then I expect you to help write the WBC, HBO, etc. to help make this fight ASAP, King does not want it, but Klitsckos and Steward do.
