IF Peter wins, Does Wlad fight him or Haye next?

If they both win then Wlad-Peter should be next if possible. It would finally crown a clear champion and has been getting a bit of a push from HBO. I also think that Haye needs a bit longer to make he and Wlad a very big fight, bigger than Wlad-Peter II. If Haye could add a name or two like Rahman, Maskaev, Golota or someone similar to his resume then he and Wlad for the undisputed title in a year or 18 months would be huge. That could be a fight to grab the mainstream sporting world's attention. But I'm not sure Peter gets by Vitali so Wlad-Peter II could be mute anyhow.

 

Peter was pounded around by Klitschko, I don't see how he 'ran' away from him. He landed punches on Peter's face, Peter's face shows it, Peter landed punches behind the head.

 

Actually, that Youtube clip of the W. Klitschko-Peter fight only makes me more concerned about V. Klitschko's chances this weekend. In my opinion, Wladimir hits way harder than Vitali -- and, if he couldn't drop Peter with those straight, hard shots, how the hell is Vitali going to do it?

 

Yes, Wladamir has cultivated more power over the last four years...and the KLIT fans are hoping that ViTKLiT's is on par with what it once was...forget about it being like where WLAD's is now.

I swear you're delusional. What ass whipping are you talking about? Wladimir fought a cautious fight against Peter and got knocked down 3 times (legal or not) in the process. He won by 3 points on each card and Peter walked through his right hands like they were nothing. Wlad caught him with a left hook at the end but that hardly makes it an ass whipping. You probably held your breath for every second of every minute in that fight knowing that Wladimir could have gone at any time and the moment the scorecards were read you probably said "see, I knew it all along." If Peter happens to win this fight, I think the best thing for boxing would be for Wlad to challenge Peter to a rematch immediately after the Povetkin fight.

But, this will never happen.

Vitali is not a one punch knockout artist...never has been.
