If prime David Tua was active today where would he be in the HW picture?

    Fury wins UD
    AJ wins SD
    Usyk 50/50.

    Wilder ducks him

    Beats the rest.

Tua is one of the most overrated boxers in history. He was good and could hold his own against anyone, but he was one-dimensional, lazy, fat, short and plodding.

He most certainly wouldn’t win a belt unless it was a joke title win like Martin or Joshua’s win over Martin. He wouldn’t even beat Paint Dry.

He was no doubt prone to being out boxed wouldn't shock me if someone like Hunter was able to out box him or even Parker because Parker has the chin to not just get blown out like so many who faced Tua. But in this era with so many belts, I mean the WBA alone have what 4 or 5 maybe hard to keep count lol.

I can see him KOing some of the chinny top guys like Wilder and Whyte but he would no doubt pick up some losses. Pulev is another that could probably jab and grab his way to a decision. Maybe even Hughie "Shades of Ali" Fury could take advantage of Tua's slow plodding style. Tua was far from invincible but against the right opponent and with so many titles he can pick up a title.

Wilder has a better 1-2 and Tua was very easy to hit.

I think Joyce would have dominated him with the jab and he has a good chin too, I think Tua was about the same level as Dubois.

Probably In training for an eliminator on pay per view against Junior Fa. Winner to fight Joe Parker for a Pan Asian Oceana, or whatever wba title is available.

This is precisely, factually, and semantically correct. He would've sparked him out cold early doors albeit obviously Ducksquad would've ducked him though

Possibly... It's a definite step up for Joe though so I'd be wary of making too many assumptions.

Probably similar to when he actually fought but a bit better due to a weaker era. He would probably look invincible banging out guys like Chisora and Dubois but then I could picture him getting outboxed by someone underwhelming like Pulev or Wallin.

He may be about the same skill level as Dubois, but he would absolutely smash DD due to his chin and hand speed advantage imo

Tua may be the only fighter in history I might pick to beat AJ, but also to lose to Hughie Fury.
