It's not relevant since Jeffries was not a quality opponent. He was an old man inactive for half a decade. A win over a highly skilled prime amateur fighter would have been more credible.

Luke said he stood in front of him and we can SEE Johnson standing right in front of him flat footed with both arms down. I am not going to argue with someone whose disagreeing with the damn footage.

Alright, you can use one of them then:

    6'1, 203 lbs Frank Moran
    6'4, 200 lbs Jim Jeffords
    6'3.5, 215 lbs Sandy Ferguson
6'3.5, 203 lbs Denver Ed Martin
    5'10.5, 205 lbs Sam McVea

Not all of them were amazing, but they were all world level fighters who were bigger than Johnson when he fought them (outside of Moran).

george foreman with a 78 inch reach advantage and loughran had a 73 and half reach advantage not that big there and certainly Georges reach wasnt as long as ray impellteires reach who had an 84 inch reach advantage and was 6 ft 7 250 plus pounds loughran beat him 3 times. Loughran would sweep everyone not knock out big George but shut him out . Again you guys keep thinking when you put Loughran and prior era boxers in with the more modern guys(50s and up) its gonna look like a 50s contest with 2 boxers content at midrange (loughran steps and smothers after every shot much like jack johnson) and loughran sticks the rear hand up to block a jab and throws his jab while he does it , Foreman jabs with one arm down by his waist and he doesnt pick it up to parry (at least not enough) thats asking to get jabbed to death by Loughran. The matches would be those jab and clinch clinics newer fans are not fond of , I see nothing by way of George stopping that . Its actually absurd to think Foreman is on par with Loughran with skills.

Ok so finish that thought , Johnson is standing in front of Moran (mind you at a range neither can punch without a step) and Johnson reacts the minute it looks Moran is going to try to step in with a punch

you know who controlled range like this charley burley

the guy compared to ROY Jones but had a jab ...Johnson had that jab too, ironic you said johnson wasnt like roy when he was more solid version of him

here is johnson when he attacks (he doesnt just run out of range and counter you coming in)
jabs ties up your left (neutralizing it) and leaning away from the only hand that can hurt you will clobbering you with his right hand

Moran had times where he caught Johnson but he had to shift punch to do it and put himself in vulnerable positiosn to do it
also note that he still ended up tied up and nullified

George is not fleet of foot nor has the shift punching or clinch skills to deal with Jack!

It is a myth that Johnson feasted on smaller opposition.

Yes a lot of his key wins were over smaller men, but he beat a whole myriad of bigger men.
