And then you woke up and realized it's just a dream, and in reality Rocky's on the canvas, all covered in blood.
I'm not trying to pick a winner between the 2 guys or bringin up the advantages each fighter has over the other. The guy asked if there was a department Holyfield was better in, i gave him one.
It's not like they stand no chance whatsoever, everyone has a punchers chance, but he is huge favorite against all of the others.
He beats all up to Joe Louis. He loses to Liston. Loses to young Ali. Frazier Foreman Ali from Shavers onward loses. Holmes beats him. Tyson, first reign Ko s him. So lookin at my picks, Bowes not a bad Heavyweight at all.
I think he’d get mixed results with the 80s guys. I don’t see him making it past Thomas, Witherspoon, Tubbs (who almost beat him anyway), Berbick, Dokes, Tucker, Spinks and Tate without taking at least one L, probably more.
You left off Michael Dokes, Tony Tubbs, Evander Holyfield and Pinklon Thomas. Many thought Tubbs won when they actually fought. On the night they won the title, I would say Ali (first two times he won it), Holmes, Foreman, Norton, Louis, Frazier, Tyson, Dempsey and possibly Holyfield beat Bowe on the night Bowe won the title. Bowe had a great jab. But it was easy to get inside. And I think it is a tossup with Tubbs, Coetzee, Baer, Walcott, Douglas and Tate, who were all pretty good the night they won theirs, too.
I think he’d beat a lot of the brawlers. He’d lose to the slicksters like Ali and homes and the more technical punchers like Louis and Tyson. George Foreman vs Riddick Bowe would be an interesting fight
Because They all fought Bowe in the real world, and yeah i can't tell if the tubbs who almost beat him was at his best. I think Dokes, prime or unprime still lose to riddick. I assume the best holyfield ever would be was in 1993, when he regained his titles, so this version souldn't be included anyway.
