Roy would never enter the tournament he would make up some excuse about having to face his Mandatories or something. It would be way too much of a risk for Reluctant Roy. Glass Jaw Roy flat out refused to take risks in his Prime and for good reason his Chin is made of wet one ply toilet paper.
Prime(d) roy would fail the drug tests. Non primed roy gets knocked the **** out by froch and king arthur, probably headbutted down by hometown billy goat, and direll cries at the staredown.
Ward would have been the trickiest. And maybe Dirrell – due to his running. But the remaining (Taylor, Froch, Kessler, Abraham, Green, Johnson) would have been glorified sparring sessions.
:rofl:rofl:rofl He'd KO Froch and Kessler, two of the hardest chins in the SMW divsion, but not Jermain Taylor, known for his relatively weak chin? What a ****ing idiot atsch
I think Glen and Ward would give him some trouble, but I think Roy would edge them. He dominates everyone else. He would probably win the Super Six.
Jesus christ. Some of these reponses shows how stupid boxing fans are in general nowadays. Anyone who thinks anyone one of these guys might ko Jones if they were to catch him with a good punch is an idiot. What about the sm version of Jones makes any of you think he can be knocked out by any of these clowns? Froch and Taylor get knocked out easily. The rest get handled with ease. Seriously, go watch some prime Jones Jr. Not the weight drained version that was/is at the end of his career.
schools them all. I think he knocks Ward out IMHO. It would be a chessmatch, but I think Roy catches him clean and knocks him out.
the SMW division is in shambles today. Like I said the only ones that would go the distance would be Johnson and Kessler. Jones would win 9/10 rounds against these two. You really think Abraham would knock out Jones lmaooo, jesus christ. Abraham would be face first on the canvas in the 6th round.
I think prime Jones would easily stop Kessler. If Ward had more pop in his punches he could have had Kessler out of there by the 8th. Think of the Ward/Kessler fight and imagine Kessler being hit even more easily and more frequently, but by someone with much more power.
