if promotors are making a loss then why do they do it?!

    Read on another thread that hearn loses big on each show he promotes and only the profitability of the other matchroom sports make it viable...

    So I ask why do they do it?? Don't believe for a second someone would promote to lose thousands of pounds just for the love of the sport.

    Heard before that the other 2 big british promotors lose on every show as well

    If i was a multi-millionaire i would its for the Hobby i know someone who does small hall shows and must be operating at a loss but its his hobby he has his own company for making money.

    If W.arren makes a loss at show a, he might make a huge profit on show b. If he keeps his punters interested in a then they'll shell out cash for b. b for example could be Haye-Chisora. He gets his money from the fight and advertising etc and he gets money for Boxnation.
