Parodi beat Prado 7-5 on two of the judges cards and you deduce from that that Framptons ko6 of Parodi trumps Quiggs's ko3 of Prado? You're just coming to to the conclusion you prefer there imo.

Hirales was dropped and beaten in his next fight after Frampton so it's hardly a stellar win.

 

With all due respect, Munroe was never that amazing to begin with, dont get me wrong, the guy was durable, and he had a very good career with his limited skills, but he was never world level to begin with. Molitor was world level, in Molitors' prime he wasnt some "above average" british title holder.

 

yep, can't really argue with that. I think the general point still holds though, there's very little between them so far, if you think Frampton has a slight edge no problem, it's these people who are suggesting he's miles ahead that are winding me up.

Having just watched the latest Hearn ifilm video it looks a bit more likely the fight may happen after all, says he's been talking to the Frampton camp this weekend. Would be s great fight and build up. :bbb

 

You know your resume is **** when your best win is a past prime Randell Monroe, Frampton is now at least fighting the elite, going after LSC notice how Quigg never mentions LSC to me that is telling, I think Frampton's team really believe in him i don't no if Quigg's team do.

 

I agree with most of this,except the bit about them fighting each other straight away. But only cos I want them both to do well,beat good opponents and meet each other further down the line. I think they can do this,but theres potential stumbling blocks along the way. Quigg has got one tonight. But if he wins,particularly by stoppage, Id say you were right about there being nothing between their records.
Looks like Frampton has an even bigger stumbling block in Leo. All of a sudden people have become very confident about his chances. Not saying he hasn't any,but it is a big ask. I don't think he has faced an opponent as long armed,as skilled or as young by a long way.

You're seriously slating Quigg for fighting Munyai tonight but saying it's ok for Frampton to fight a washed up super fly last week?

 

There's too much respect for the alphabets and their titles here. Their ratings are so absurdly ridiculous it isn't funny and being the belt holder of such an organization makes you a "world champion"? There's either one world champion or none. Let's not spread the propaganda.
