If Quigg's not a world champ, why do people moan about his opponents?

Firstly there is no 'if'.

He is not a world champ, and to claim he is, is poor.

Secondly I will chastise anyone if they consistently fight guys from a lower weight class.

Frank Buglioni was an example of this.

Quigg is worse as he and his management are actually claiming he is a world champion.

We are also being told of his new explosive power all the time, which it remains to be seen how it will fair against someone in his weight class.

 

I agree, I've said it before he's not a world champion so if he wants to fight no hopers then let him. Just wish sky would stop claiming he's a world champ, he isn't.

Its about his and his managements claims.

If he didn't claim to be a world champion he could fight who he wanted.

 

Maybe because he claims to be a World Champion, similar to how Cleverly got dog's abuse for his WBO run. And I'm a Quigg fan, but the reason he gets abuse about opponents is pretty obvious.

 

It's actually nice to see you finally admit he's not a world champion Solaris, now if quigg and his management did the same we'd all be happy.

people moan about Russel jr's opponents, he's no world champ.
people moan about Jacobs' opponents, he's no world champ.
people moaned about Brook's opponents, before he became world champ.

So people have the right to moan about Quigg's opponents, and it doesn't matter he's no world champ.

 

Would you personally take the much harder un winnable Rigo fight for **** money if this was your career? Or would you wait for more winnable fights that also pay more?

pride , honour and legacy just by saying you shared a ring with an all time great should be enough for quigg , hell there aint no shame in losing to rigo and for that reason should not effect his earning potential to much , in the same way canelo losing to floyd did not :think

It would be pissing away millions of dollars not to fight Frampton first. Same goes for Frampton.
