If he came back against Woodhouse he would have stopped him in 2 rounds. I was glad Woodhouse won the British title but even a shot Hatton would have destroyed Curtis. Different levels of fighters. Its like Kell Brook who stopped Senchenko, he would finish Woodhouse in 1 round. That is no disrespect to Curtis, just different levels that's all.

 

I always said he went too far too quick , he was never going to be the same fighter as before the defeats to Many and Floyd but the comeback could have been a better story than it was , Id like to have seen this Prizefighter , Junior Witter, Paulie Malignaggi in that order

very possible , the whole comeback contradicted it self , just watch what he says in the interviews ,"its about more than a world title" then another one where he said "nothing apart from the highest level will be good enough" maybe not the exact words but it was along that lines

 

I fully agree with this post, after being out of the ring the amount of time he has he was nvr gonna be ring-fit to jump in with Senchencko esp with everything that had happens during his retirement, he lacked stamina and timing when he came back both of which improve after getting in the ring a few times

 

Hattons best win is C level Malignaggi. He is a bum who never beat a great - hell not even a good - fighter in their prime - Castillo and Tzyu being well past it. This bum barely even got past C level Collazo

He was just hype from his fans that are blind sheep who follow the herd. What a coincidence, the only two prime and elite boxers he ever faced in his whole career viciously destroyed him.

I think ul find all KT was not considered past him prime until Ricky beat his prime out of him, he was a massive underdog going Into that fight when KT was ranked #3 pvp and ricky made him quit in his stood

The other guys u have mentioned are still fighting for world titles today, still mixing it at the top level over 5 years after (apart from Castillo who was ranked in the pvp list when Ricky one shotted him) and have won belts in a number of weight divisions which shows they were no easy wins

Not all fighters can have resumes which include 5-10 hall of famers...I see no need to call a nice guy like Ricky a bum when he clearly isn't, he will be inducted into the HOF at some point

and hall of fame is something any solid boxer can get into. Sylvester Stallone of all people is in it so not much of an accomplishment
