    just a thought,if ricky hatton knocks malinaggi out (witch i think will happen ) and then beats pacman do you think he will get any respect on here from the americans

    Depends how Pac does against Oscar, if Pac gets flattened and then steps back down to 140 and loses to Hatton people will say "So what?"

    He has earnt just about everyones respect. It is the fact he is a big time charlie that pisses people off.

    I'll be both surprised and impressed if Hatton KO's Malignaggi, especially considering Cotto couldn't do it! That said i already respect Hatton alot

    I think he would still struggle for recognition over here in the UK.

    It seems to me to be a popular theme over the last year to rubbish Hatton in any way what so ever.

    hatton gets decent respect from a lot of of americans in gf

    but at the end of the day his resume is very average

    if he beats paulie and more importantly pac

    then yeah, he will get major respect from everyone

    but really, who gives a ****, if some people respect him and some people dont

    ime not saying malinaggi is a big scalp but rickys still got to beat him
    on the other hand pac would be a big scalp regardless of how he does against de la hoya just wondered what people thought
