not sure if ricky would win either but it is possible would love to see the fight though my 2 fave fighters
I'd take Hatton, Pac boxed beautifully in his last fight but hit Diaz, a lightweight, with everything but the kitchen sink and couldn't make much of a dent.
Spot on and anyway pac, will get manhandled and dominated by hatton especially at 140 because lets face hatton is a animal. I know the Pac fight would be great but I would love to see him in the ring against JMM as that would be more of an intriguing fight as would hatton deal with JMM boxing skills because pac will just wanna rumble.:good
Hatton won't be plodding forward in slow motion asking to be hit. Pac hit Diaz with everything, knowing there was nothing going to be coming back and not being at all pressured or forced to engage when he didn't want to. It was a very good perfomance but no way did his power look at all impressive in that fight, it took him 9 rounds of totally shellacking Diaz to get a stoppage on acclumination of punches. Hatton gets "fairly badly wobbled" in one fight and all of a sudden the chin that took Zoos shots is being called into question when fighting a 130lber moving up in weight? I have the fight on DVD, I'll rewatch it but I doubt I'll change my mind.
Hatton as only be seriously wobbled at WW and thats because he ate to many punches, and are u seriously saying diaz as a better chin than hatton on what evidence.
ricky was never in serious trouble against lazcano was in control of the fight from start to finish IMO
Of course he would, he already does. Paulie has never been stopped and for me Paquiao will still be PFP #1 even if he loses to Oscar.
Hattons proved to have a pretty decent chin over the course of his career, he gets stunned/ wobbled over the course of his last fight and now his punch resistance is gone? I know boxing is a fickle business but thats indecent haste to say the least.
Come on guys Pac looked excellent against Diaz, but realistically Diaz was made to order and he is several leagues below Hatton. The fight will be a good one though if it comes around.
Now thats revisionist history. Its taken you 15 minutes to go from "fairly badly wobbled" to "hanging on for dear live"
I think a points win is likely but I don't read too much into Cotto not stopping Pauli meaning Hatton won't. Cotto fights in spurts rather than steady pressure and was pretty badly drawn at the weight when they fought.
I doubt he'll KO Malignaggi. Fact is, he spends too much time holding, and therefore there is less opportunity for him to land clean punches.
Not as many as people think. Probably around 600 at a guess. For a fighter that is supposed to have a high work-rate at 140 that isn't a big number. If he threw more punches and hugged less he'd have a great chance of stopping the embarrassing American. But Hatton will clinch, and Malignaggi is the sort of fighter that will be all to happy to engage.
