It was also under a very awarkward sieuaition. That was the "Fanman" fight where the bout was interupted for some time. It was also to Holyfield who he had also beaten and would beat again.

Bowe's whole career was an orchestrated farce. He faced two live oppents: Holyfield and Golota. In those fights, lost one of three to Holy, who was great but a former cruiser, and hit the deck in the third fight. We all saw what Golota did to him.

He has all the talent in the world, and I really hoped he would do better, but he didn't want to do things the right way. Instead, he had the disgrace of throwing a belt in the garbage, the disgrace of defending agaisnt Dokes and Ferguson, the disgrace or his should-have-been-DQs against Tillery and the other fellow (was is Nobles he hit on the canvas?).

Say what you will about the Klits- they have corrected there flaws and been around a long, long time. Bowe was the opposite- one shinning moment surrounded by farce and deterioration.

I think he would have a 3 in 10 chance against Wlad, and 1 in ten agaisnt Vitaly, if Vitaly got cut or injured.

Yea I agree he was naturally a great fighter, but like Tyson had a short prime and the bully mentality if broken worked against them. Great jab and right hand, but he wasnt known for being in the best of shape either. I think hed beat Wlad 2 outta 3 and Vitali 1 outta 3.

Bowe was very lazy and prone to being a fat-ass, a dedicated Bowe could be very good, that being said he has a decent shot against both Klits, especially since neither are as good or versatile as Lewis, and they lack inside fighting skill.

Prime Bowe would absolutely dominate....but remember he only has a 3 year window to do this before he gets fat. But within those 3 years he destroys both Klits and unifies all the titles.

That's the size of this thread.....

If Bowe wasn't fat and out of shape.
    If Bowe wasn't scared.
If Bowe would've developed his inside fighting.
    If,if,if,if,if..........

I have rewatched his fights recently with Holyfield with that size and those 235 pounds and a couple of other fights. Man, Big daddy would do the same to Wladimir that he did to Gonzales.

Is the Pope Catholic???? As long as Bowe stayed in shape, he would DOMINATE this division. Even a second rate Bowe probably would hold the title for quite a while.
