Mayweather is not boring. It's absolutely mind-boggling to me how people who consider themselves hardcore boxing fans don't enjoy his game. Like, if you are out for "entertainment" and blood, I suggest MMA is for you.

I love both guys and watching them fight. I would suggest that the people who do not Rigo also do not like floyd. that being said Foyd knows how to sell himself and that is why he is the biggest star in the sport. If rigo had a bit more personality he would be a bigger draw.

IMO opinion, besides his fighting style, rigo's main problem is that he's a spanish speaking black cuban. If he were Mexican American, even with the same fighting style, alot of the people who currently say he's boring would be on his dick.

And thats one of the reasons why Khan vs Mayweather makes sense considering all of Mayweathers last several fights have been boring to the casual fans.

I'd consider Lara to be even more boring then the two in question. All three of them can do what they want, when they want and look controlled in their fights but Lara seems punch shy, he just slows the tempo like he's 'just getting by'. Rather then what he appears capable of. He loves it when the crowd boo. Its like it eggs him on. It might be a good sign in Cuba but over here it I'm pretty sure it means you need to 'do' more. Rigo and Floyd control the fight with their fists and maintain the upper hand in momentum. We know they wont be in trouble because they pull out the big guns whenever they feeeeeeel like it. If i had to say out of the two then Rigo is more boring purely because he is lesser known. Im not proud of saying that but its true. Floyd is the most exciting because your waiting to see him lose. Even if at times he looks untouchable you still watch because one punch could end it all. After all, we've seen worse things happen.

Floyd appeals to a certain large demographic. His fighting is the last thing that most of his fans care about, although it is phenomenal (if boring).

His problem is similar to Rigo's: Dudes get in there and then stop trying due to frustration. Difference is that Mayweather is more vulnerable and the rewards of beating him are far greater, so some guys can almost make a fight out of it.
