If RJJ beats Tyson now, does that give credence to prime RJJ beating 1991 Tyson?

I think it might. Tyson is still the bigger man today.

It is an exhibition. Nothing more. Although Roy's glass jaw will probably force it to end early. They will play and mug and dance for millions. SUCKER. They say there are 2,000,000 born every minute in boxing.

It is an exhibition, not a fight, so nobody is going to win.

Agreed. Card is straight up terrible. The only fighter on it that's worth a crap is Badou Jack and they have him matched in an 8 rounder against a guy that is in way over his head. $50 to watch to 50+ year old spar is not worth it.

If we dug up Marciano and matched him with Liston's corpse; does that mean 1957 Louis has a better chance of beating 1979 Bowe?

By this logic, Mitt Romney could have stood a chance against Foreman in '91.

More credence than any version of Roy beating a Rooney trained Tyson who would have destroyed Roy easily, however neither fighter is allowed to knock the other out so whoever Paz and Chrissy Martin judge to have won this bout won`t come away with any credit at all.

The rules have stated neither fighter is allowed to score a KO and they will be wearing 12once gloves.

Better question would be if he wins would it suggest that Roy could have beat the two fighters Mike beat in `91.

The Jones-Tyson exhibition means nothing. It will tell me nothing about either fighter. Just a sideshow. I am going to pass.
